Please stop saying elo hell exists.

It does NOT exists. It's there as a figment of your imagination, something to let your rage out on because YOU are bad, not your team mates, and not the system.

I started off this season in Bronze 3 like many other people, and made my way out of it pretty easy, you know how? Sticking to one or two champions. That's it, it's as simple as not playing champions you are trash at and can't carry with. I played Kassadin mostly and just made up for my allies mistakes by roaming, sure they might be losing their lane bot or top, but that's nothing some roaming can't fix. People feed sometimes and it just makes the game harder to win, but there is ALWAYS a way to win. This one game I believe it was like 10-30 kills with 4 towers in favour of their team, but somehow we won it when I ended up capitalizing on my enemies mistakes and eventually going 20-11 by the end of the game, I was literally able to carry my whole team.

TL;DR, find two champions you are good at and notice you win a lot with and stick to them, never stray away and you WILL get out of elo hell.

Just FYI, when I got out of Bronze I had about 10 games on Kassadin with a 90% winrate, I'm now at about 16 @ 75% WR.

Elo hell does exist lol. Specially Later in the season. If you tank your mmr. Have fun getting out.

Lol... If you have a positive W/L you will always climb. Eventually you might hit a wall though, but that's YOUR fault. Not the systems, or your teammates.

Nah. If you tank your mmr early in the season and have a 40% w/r then get better as the season goes. It can be pretty bad.

Who's fault is it for tanking your MMR though? That's the whole thing I'm trying to get out. It's your fault, no one else's.

Hi here! Spent the whole year in Silver and climbed to gold last year!

I got placed back in Silver V this season and I can tell you: Some people down here are so bad it is litteraly impossible to carry. I have a game in mind where I went 16/4/4 as Lux but just couldn't do anything because bot lane fed too much (shout out to 0/10/3 Thresh trying to make offensive plays). I remember many games where I got an S but still lost. Basicaly bot lanes decides the game since there is 2 people feeding so the team that has a bot lane that feeds less wins.

BTW Bronze is actualy easier to carry in that Silver, In Bronze 99% of the players are so bad that you could litteraly 1v5 and get away with it, and people in Bronze tend to listen more. In Silver games are always one sided and the only way to win if behind is if the enemy teams throws.

Are there ELO hell games? Yep. Is bronze a cesspool that is probably harder to climb than silver and higher? Sources indicate yep. But do you have more control over that than the other players? Yep.

I can from my experience say that Silver is a lot harder to climb than Bronze, but not impossible nor hard.

Hey kid, you might want to give a read at this.

My definition of elo hell isn't "i can't climb". My definition of elo hell is "it takes roughly 3/4 more games than the necessary to climb due to trolls, retards and casuals that riot socially engineered into this game and also the main skill that gets rewarded in soloQ isn't sheer skills but it's luck and how much you can endure mental abuse without tilting."

I was silver last season and now i'm bronze V in clown queue, i coach friends that range from bronze to diamond. Plus a bunch more of stuff i don't want to write right now.

Last season I peaked at gold II and let me tell you something, elo hell does exist and it's around silver 5 - 3 (this is where I am right now atm).

Players are inconsistent, they cannot farm, they don't understand objectives control, they are toxic, they pick random stuff, they blame others for their failures, at this elo you will have people feeding than blaming the jungler who isn't even 6 yet. People can't build proprely, late game is a mystery for them they don't understand the META, they don't understand what 50% of champions do, they don't push , they don't rotate, they chase kills with no vision, they get outsmited at baron, they chase people and die right after killing Baron and on top of that they think they are hot shit cause they got out of bronze.

Sure you can get out of silver, I did but ho man it wasn't fun, 1 out 5 games will be a complete shit-show where your team goes full retard. I understand people who are trying to improve and are stuck in silver, if you don't carry super hard at this elo every game is a coin flip after 20 minutes.

Getting out of bronze is easy took me 2 days, gold is fun people are genuine and the level is better , but silver is a cluster fuck of ragers, trolls and feeders.
