Can we please lower Katarina's snowball ability.

It's sickening to the core to see this crap when Veig got nerfed and especially kass.

Oh yeah, she has absolutely nothing.

For a second I thought she was only extremely BS, I remember now that she is maximum.

My firm belief is that resouceless champions should always be outdamaged by resource gated champions. I.E Veigar Should always outdamage a Katarina who is equally fed.

He does....especially if they are equally as fed. Katarina snowballs by getting ahead. Veigar continually stays strong by continuously scaling. Plus, you can stop Kat's ult with cc. If they are both equally as fed then Kat isn't ahead.

Bigger insult, Kassadin used to counter Katarina

Bigger insult, Kassadin used to counter Katarina She is a much bigger problem now that most of her counters are weaker or have been downright nerfed. Talon Used to be one of her bigger counters, but his silence got removed and no interrupt added to his E(Which I don't understand why) Veigar 's stun got that damn delay so he can no longer stop her when she jumps him. Leblanc Is in the same boat as Talon but right now she's in a decent place so I can't complain about her. And pretty much every mana based champion got their resource shit on so now Manaless is the way to go!

While manaless is nice, she doesn't keep scaling without being continuously active and making plays where Veigar or Kass do - they just keep afk farming and can scale to keep up with her.

Also, big tradeoff: Katarina has a fairly weak laning phase that you have to respect, she's easily bullied in lane by shoving waves constantly into her face.

I'll agree her early game damage is pretty non-existent, but everyone just says don't feed her kills. But being the way she is, she can accidentally get a kill or 2 and become a living nightmare for your team. And in solo-que or blind pick she is the queen of face roll. Plus I've seen multiple times where you can't even react to her burst in order to cc her.

By comparison to other popular midlane assassins - Nidalee Ahri Zed Yasuo Talon Riven Diana Fizz - her damage simply isn't there, particularly levels 1-3 where her Q harass is virtually nothing, while at 4 accidentally getting too close, taking only a couple combos without a potion can be deadly.

I think her lack of 1-3 damage and the fact that she has to get in close to the wave to last hit effectively really does effect how effective she can be if you can zone her out early

But then, as mentioned before, she only needs a couple kills to catch up and even the playing field to become a faceroll champ. Hell, I remember one of my first Katarina games ever I had no clue what I was doing and was behind over 100 CS by 35 minutes, virtually no kills on the board (maybe 1-5 with an equal amount of deaths) and simply didn't know how to use her, then figured out she has resets and a nice little targetted flash in her kit and ended up with a penta shortly after.

Her laning phase always was and still is weak, it's just that the mana regen nerfs have lessened the difference between the amount of harass she can put out vs. a typical mana user. It's why Katarina Akali Zed got so out of control.

Veigar and Kass both rely on scaling into the mid-late game to be effective, as they always have. Kat relies on early-mid game pressure to get ahead and requires leaving lane to do so - effectively giving either of the aforementioned the time they need to do exactly that.

Not sure why people still have a problem here. Pick Ahri Leblanc Lissandra all of whom are relatively strong against Kat.

Don't like her roaming? TwistedFate problem solved.
