Please make it so that you get bonus crafting rewards for playing less popular roles/fill

I remember a Rioter a while ago (think it was Lyte on ask.fm, not sure) saying you could get rewarded for playing less popular roles once New Champ Select would come out. Now that we have Hextech Crafting, I feel like they can easily fix issues like the huge lack of support players just by increasing key drop rate for those players, or maybe rewarding them with additional chests.

Then people like me can finally choose support/fill as their secondary without getting support every single game, and it would also decrease queue times for mid/adc players because more people would switch to support.

and people like me, who suck at a speciffic role are punished for not being able to choose fill?

We really need an " exclude " button. That doesn't mean that this suggestion shouldn't happen.

We're finally getting skins for free. And you feel entitled to an even greater chance because you play support? I've paid for my skins for the most part of my league life. But even though I don't see much people not picking support, key drop rate would be the only thing I'd offer.

For me it's not about getting more skins or champions: skins aren't that important for me, and I have all champions I really want. For me it's about motivating more people to pick support/fill/other unpopular roles, so I can start playing support secondary again without playing it every single game, and an additional benefit would be shortened queue timers for most players, as all players would be distributed more evenly across all roles.

hm ... see support role incoming with troll picks just for the bonuses ruining the game for 4 other players

EDIT: I don't think they should use a reward system to increase popularity .. they should remove the reason for bad popularity ...

Be honest ... why you don't pick support?

My answer is (played most support back in S3!) Duo lanes have a special dynamic that get out of balance easily if support and adc don't sync and the effect of a not farming support then fades faster than the effect of the adc. That is, why supports loose a big chunk of impact if they don't sync to their adc ...

Side node: Not syncing is something else than on of both playing bad ... i.E. adc wants to play a farm lane and support trys to go for kills ...

I don't see how Riot would motivate people to play support. They could offer me any amount of RP. I still wouldn't play it.
