Dude, dude. I do fine with Garen. You have to be patient and not go ham level 1 vs a Darius. He can pretty much ignore all slows like Nasus W. Mord or Dar or Sett can't do that. His ult doesn't need prep time. Trinity is sick on him and I have Q ulted targets simply due to Trinity proc. I am lvl 11 the adc is 9 or 10-reasonable. Just spin on the support,q ult the adc and he is dead. Proceed to return to teh support. AQlso Darius and Mord have to deal their own damage. Darius can't just press R on you. He has to stack. Garen can sit a bit back let the enemy bruiser get poked to half hp. Run with q or flash silence and ult.
Say a 4000 hp Darius. Your team pokes him to 2500. You start E. he gets to 1900. you Q him so he can't flash-ult right after. 450 + 600-700(30 percent of missing) hp will finish him off.
Again his Trinity rework makes him very good. People continue to go Grasp and Bc and that is why he is low.
As for your other examples- Aatrox is horrible and you can easily build Trinity+ Steraks + Deadmans and a bramble vest and just destroy Aatrox. He can't otheal the E+ Q trinity proc and ult. In general Aatrox is super weak. It was then than you lost me. I almost never fight Aatrox and when I do I rejoice as even if he beats my Darius I can outdamage him with passive and later he doesn't have the healing to TF and can easily be stunned, pulled etc to fuck up his Q chain.
A champ so simplistic having 49 percent is good. Not to mention some morons still go wrong runes and BC on him despite his synergy with Trinity so that's bringing his WR down.
