runes for lissandra support ?

Hi all, Lissandra support is my all-time main champ/role combo that I've played consistently since shortly after she came out. I haven't played much since new runes came out but i have gotten the chance to try her with three or four new sets of runes and all of them leave her vastly squishier and doing less damage than before. Has anyone found a good rune combo for her as a support? I used to run 15 flat magic pen and like 15 armor before new runes came out, after new runes came out I've tried:

• electrocute, it seems a bit delayed and also its not aoe which isnt great, plus it isnt in the sorcery tree which leaves a lot of cdr to be desired
• comet, too easy to dodge once someone gets normal boots, also in general i find it isnt proccing as often during my rotation as thunderlords
• aerie probably the most reliable for poking but damage isn't great and it doesn't help much purely for burst like thunderlords did, plus not aoe

I used to take gathering storm before i realized how useless it is since games rarely last to 30min anymore so i started taking scorch but i dont really see a damage increase and also am still unable to figure out if its ready to proc or not. I also take cheapshot but its really only useful when im in range for w which doesnt add much at all to her main poke with just q.

I've switched between sorcery and inspiration as secondary trees when running electrocute, I decided on sorcery because liss is so starved for damage and defence and i can at least get a tiny bit of damage from the sorcery tree. unfortunately i lose out on the cdr cap and item cdr from inspiration since those are no longer in the same tree.

Also, as far as defence goes ive found no real defence runes at all. The only ones i see offer that like 5% increase which is basically useless for someone not building a lot of ar or mr.

tbh the only new rune i've actually found that i'd rather not do without is the zombie ward rune since I usually dont build sightstone until after boots+1 item. Also, futures market is good since supp gold prices are lower the debt limit it offers is more effective but it's more of a minor qol rune than a I need this for viability rune.

All in all i'm pretty sure shes simply not viable anymore and I'll likely have to put her in the dumpster of supports gone past along with soraka, viktor, and velkoz. [sg-soraka]
but before I dump her I thought i'd ask you all just in case theres some saving grace rune combo that i havent tried.
