The changes to alistar made him incredibly oppressive.

And to make matters worse, his broken combos are now easier to execute than flash tibbers, can we please put this cow in his place, im tired of him being spammed every game im in and the fact that the only counterplay to him is having a specific support comp.

He's squishier than you think. Bait out the ult, then combo him. Morgana is an easy counter, take her mid or support. Not only does she stop him engaging with her Q, but can also deny all CC from his "broken combo" with E.

Combo isn't easier than tibbers flash, because it is still possible to headbutt them away then Q, where are you can't just forget to flash after you press R with Annie. (If you don't know what I mean, it's buffering your ability before you flash. So you click R out of range, then flash, so you cannot dodge it. It's more unpredictable, and you can't miss.)

Alistar squishy? Hah.

Requires misplay on opponents part.

I already stated that some supports counter him, the problematics stems from there being little counterplay and that most counterplay stems from counterpicking making him an extremely solid last pick into teams that doesn't have the tools to deal with him

You can outplay a flash tibbers in the same sense that you can outplay an alistar WQ combo, the difference is that one is spammable, the other is not while both have a massive impact. Flash tibbers arguably has a much larger impact, but t's something you can only do once every 4-5 minutes depending on masteries and boot enchantments.

Alistar is incredibly prone to kiting, because to get in the fight he has to sit front line until in range to WQ, or wait for his flash Q. Someone like an Ezreal can just poke down alistar to half hp just by hitting q's with iceborn. With his ult, he is a giant tank. But without it, he's not the biggest tank you can get. I never said he was squishy, I said he was squishier than you think. I.e., not the tankiest in the game.

The chances of outplaying a tibbers flash combo is extremely small. The only thing you can do is stay apart. A good Annie wouldn't Flash Ult, because it gives them time to get out whilst you cast ult. With good reflexes, you can flash out before she casts ult. A good Annie would Ult Flash, as mentioned before. This gives the opponent no time to flash out, as the ult is casted immediately. Only chance of getting out is as said before - staying apart, poking down Annie so she has to care before going in. She'll almost certainly Ult Flash onto the squishy/squishies, so as long as they stay far enough back so she can't catch them, you should be alright.

Alistar WQ can be dodged by a Lucian E, it's that easy. You just need around 40 or below ping, good reflexes and predictions. The thing is, Alistar WQ doesn't always result in a kill, even if executed successfully. Most champs have escapes, and if they don't, support will shield the squishy or something else will keep them alive. Annie Ult Flash should end up in a kill or two every time you do it, and that should end up winning the team fight. Therefore, the longer cooldown has more impact. Teamfights don't happen every 10 seconds, so Annie should have flash ready on most teamfights, just as Alistar does.

In the jungle, both champs can make picks (even Annie without Flash). But in teamfights, chances are, you poke down alistar, dodge his combo with flash or dash, bait his ult, and he's pretty much just a brick until his combo is back up or has Locket/FotM.
