To the people that complain about boosted players on their elo

Ever wonder how many people get boosted to silver or lower gold? now you might be thinking well it's not even hard to get there. Well that's the damn point, they can easily get boosted by soo many players to a rank where they become to heavy to be boosted further. Worse this starts off from the unranked matches. Imagine how bad it is to carry all these people that aren't even familiar with the game and play and buy champions on the pro's meta. Playing zyra isn't the same league as playing flash annie with clickable stuns. You need to see a bit into the future into snaring for your team and doing the R > W, W > Q at the same time you snare, gotta be fast and anticipate not slow. I truly really hope the ranks are remade and made more strict in season 7. Bronze elo shouldn't be the garbage dump it should be respected and treated like any other rank elo and people should go through it in some form of another. Silver Rank should be earned, if anything maybe bronze should be earned as-well.

Not really sure how they can make bronze respectable. Being the lowest tier, it really should be where inexperienced players end up. I do wish they made silver a little more prestigious in the fact that you can't just be easily carried to silver from placements on a new account. Right now it only takes like 3-4 wins to get silver off placements on a new account. Which is dumb since even new players can be carried to win a few games. Then they either quit and still get rewards or they keep playing and get demoted and feel bad while ruining games for other players.

I just wish they would stop the boosting and make games more even next season. Right now it is very common for my games to have tier rank differences. There always plat 4-5 players in my games and I am only gold 4. To be honest I don't usually notice much difference, but its still kind of annoying. I am fine with playing gold 1-2 players but when half the people in game are plat it seems strange considering I am still not even halfway through gold tier.

Edit: Well according to op.gg my mmr higher than average so that might be part of it. Seems strange though since I have not really been winning that much lately. Never really understand matchmaking.

Doesn't have to be respectable per say but not the shrug elo that's just mostly ignored. It should be placed for people to start learning, given silver is still noobish but most players are already familiar with the game and it's mechanics however it's not uncommon to see people that started off in silver in fact it's actually common to see that.

I have a friend that has the same complaint you do except he is less patient and already quit, he was plat tier but this season just stopped at gold because he was tired of having to hard carry most of his games with snowball champions because of bad premades.

I actually think it made it easy to climb this season. Started in S5 and climbed to G5 in 62 games with a 68% win rate playing solo only. Sure, you get bad players on your team. But there are bad ones on the enemy team that you can use to get yourself insanely fed
