I doubt you have feeders every game unless you're in very low ELO. What's probably happening is there's no proper counter pressure being applied. Bot lane gets hit the worst with ganks because the side that falls usually takes the game with them.
I'm gold and in bot lane, and I've never seen 1-8 by 10 minutes unless you have a troll. Games are over by 1-3 in this meta.
Top lane is largely detached from the rest of the game until it is time to group. The only time you're going to see top and bot meet most of the time is if the top laner is ahead and they TP bot, or you get a GP ult bot. Something like that.
I've noticed so many top laners completely unaware what's happening at the rest of the map because it's so easy to tune out and only care about what's happening in yours.
Bot lane and mid lane on the other hand are very dependent on one another because the mage/assassin that wins that lane is going to go bot for the infamous 4 man gank. If bot lane can't dominate their enemy laner, then the mid is going to fix that, and vice versa too. If the mid laner isn't dominating their lane, then the bot lane is going to go mid after taking tower.
Basically, bot lane is gank city because there's a carry there and the dragon. When bot lane falls it is usually because the jungler decided to blow all the pressure on top lane while the enemy jungler caused havoc across the map and got all the dragons, or they just AFK farmed.
If you want to stop a spiraling situation, then being a top lane main isn't the best place to be.
Anyways, if you're ganked 4-5 times without any help, then something's gotta give, it is either they're going to die or they're going to lose two towers.
The other issue with botlane that raises the stakes is supports like
.
does an absurd amount of damage on a support income.
has so much utility, safety, and damage. He's just so overloaded.
has an oppressive poke while being incredibly safety.
These are all ban worthy picks for the bot lane, and their ban rates are all high, but so are their pick rates. If you ban one, another is gonna probably pop up. You can shut them down yourself. I typically do, but your room for error against these supports is incredibly small which is stressful, so a gank is best. If you screw up, then your lane is over.
