I don't find Sett oppressive
At all. Haven't played him myself yet, but he's honestly not very bad to fight. Impactful ult? Yes. Decent juggernaut niche? Yes. Unstoppable? No.
There's so many worse, more toxic champions in this game than Sett.

Sett is the champion who is so hype, and you look at and go "Oh yes hes popin off".... and he just dies doing nothing. But it was a fucking amazing nothing.
Exactly, also people need to understand: His R has a 400 cast range. Thats pretty damn small.
He's alright which is funny because he's never banned or picked. Probably the most balanced champion upon release which is amusing considering the previous releases.
It’s NA boards though. They don’t really care about it: all they care is circlejerking on the boards because they got bodied hard by a Sett.

Literally the only game I've gotten to play him so far. He's sitting at close to 53% win rate Plat+ and has one item build (his most popular) sitting at 56%.
So yeh I think he's pretty busted. More so than I thought before I actually played the guy.
I subject every new champion to the Master Yi test, meaning "Can Master Yi solo this champion comfortably?" If yes, champion is good. If no, very toxic champion.
My only issue is how big his w is. Like. That thing is half a lane wide.
Yep if you know him you can avoid a ton of his damage.
Also he is struggling hard in Challenger, and also not picked as much there. High ELO is Riot's focal point of balancing, so the fact that he doesn't have nearly as high of a win rate there means he's likely not that good, people at lower ELO just don't know how to lane against him.

i don't find akali oppressive. at all.
Hes not. Hes the most balanced champ on release in a while. His W is a little overwhelming, but you can dodge it. Given how kitable he is and how if he doesn't snowball how weak he is, he is fine. If he gets nerfed, hes going to drop to B tier top at most and an even worse jungler than he already is.
That's exactly why 90+% of the discussion state how fun/healthy he is despite having a bit high early numbers.
