Ivern Rework Idea [The Real Friend of the Forest]

Lets face it, Ivern gets bullied when he gets caught out. Without Daisy, he really stands no chance against most enemy junglers and all he can do is shield himself, scream for his team to collapse, and use his rootcaller to either root the enemy or jump to a nearby jungle camp to run away.

But isn't he supposed to be the "Friend of the Forest"

How come his "Friends" will just stand there and watch as he gets attacked?

My idea is to make the forest a little friendlier to him.

For the most part, his passive stays the same. He still places groves which cost health and mana. They still mature at the same time. He can still Smite to clear a camp early, ...

What I would add is that when he has placed a grove on a camp, that camp will assist him if he is attacked by an enemy champion within range of them. Note: Assisting monsters have the same stats as they normally would

I wanted to add a gameplay note here. I think this actually adds a lot of strategy for him and his enemies. If he is walking into a part of the jungle that has no camps groved, he is vulnerable. He could also potentially bait enemies into a friendly camp, even on their side of the map. However, this is a double-edged sword. If he THINKS he has a groved camp, he might feel safe walking into that area, only to find that the enemy has already cleared that camp and can easily beat him.

His Q stays the same W stays the same E stays the same

But I would also consider changing his R I know, "Poor Daisy" .. but get rid of her.

Ivern's new Ultimate can be used similar to Smiting a groved camp. He instantly receives the gold and Exp from that camp, but instead, .. He gains control of that camp in a way that was similar to Daisy. Different camps have different stats, and they get buffed in different ways while under Ivern's command Ivern can also shield a monster under his command

Camps are generally pretty easy for a higher level player to kill, so most of them will receive Health / resistances buffs.

Gromp gets a damage and / or a range buff Blue might have a knockup similar to Daisy Wolves would leap to targets and deal damage based on missing health Raptors have an attack speed buff Red gets a cinderhulk passive Krugs have extra resistances

I'm not sure if I would support the idea of having one upgraded Wolf, Raptor, and Krug.. or if there should be the same respective numbers as there are in the camp. It would be cool if the upgraded versions of all of the buffs got unique skins based on Ivern's skin.

For example, Dunkmaster Ivern could have a full team, all camps as different players with their own jerseys.

He could get a soul from the last camp he did it and use it as his ult (A forest ghost) just like he does now and if it is one of the main pits he gets Daisy soul. It wouldn't make him too op but would make more fun to play with for sure, especially for the people who likes summons. For ARAM he could have Poro just for the fun.

but yeah, good idea. Looks fun.

I have to say that Riot will ignore, sorry for that. But I liked.

Wow it would be awsome! Damn...your idea gave me an idea. Here is my version of the rework base on yours.

  1. Passive : Friend of the Forest.( ESENTIALLY THE SAME, BUT!!)

Ivern cannot attack or damage non-epic monsters. Instead, targeting a jungle camp initiates a 2.5 seconds Channeling iconchannel that, upon completion, places the monsters within a grove. Placing a grove costs Health icon 131.63 − 121 (based on level) health and Mana icon 148.5 − 110.25 (based on level) mana, and cannot be cast if Ivern lacks the resources. The channel cannot be cancelled in the first 0.15 seconds and in the last 0.5 seconds.

The grove matures over 40 − 1 (based on level) seconds. When fully matured, Ivern can interact with the camp again to free the monsters after 0.5 seconds, sending them away while receiving their Gold full gold and Experience icon full experience bounties. Smite Smiting a large monster within a grove will instantly free the camp's monsters, regardless of its maturity or the monsters' current health.

If the camp's large monster has already been slain, Ivern will free the camp upon completing the channel at no cost. Similarly, the grove will instantly mature if the large monster is slain.

NEW PART HERE It no longer leaves a blue or red buff behind but has a new effect instead.

-Starting at level 5, freeing the Red Brambleback or the Blue Sentinel, Will make Daisy appear. -She will remain by your side until she dies or you die -While daisy is here,85% of the dammage dealt to Ivern is redirected to Daisy instead. -While daisy is here, Ivern is no longer able to basic attack and daisy will go basic attack champion for you instead.
-Daisy has damage reduction from area of effects from epic monsters and champions. -Turret Damage dealt to daisy will be redirected to Ivern Instead. -Recalling at the fountain and healing plants can heal daisy. -Daisy prioritizes enemies Root by Rootcaller and benefits from the ability's dash.

  • If Ally buff are slain by allied champion, it leaves a Golem sentinel behind for you to call daisy after freeing it with your camp passive. -Daisy's basic attacks apply stacks of Flower Power, resetting whenever Daisy attacks a new target. Versus a target with 2 stacks, Daisy's next attack gains bonus attack range and sends forward a shockwave that damages and Airborne icon knocks up up all enemies hit in a line for 1 second. Flower Power cannot happen again for 12 seconds.
  • Daisy's Basic Attack applie spell effect. -If Daysi is in combat, Ivern Becomes in combat too. -Daisy won't tank for damage dealt to Ivern by Ivern's passive

Here are Daisy's Stats

Health 1250 - 4200 Scale with levels (+ 50% AP) Attack damage 70 / 100 / 170 (+ 35% AP) Attack speed 0.613 (+ 4% per level) Range 150 Armor 30 to 90 (scale wit levels) (+ 6.5% AP) Magic res. 30 to 90 (scale with levels)(+ 6.5% AP) Mov. speed Same has Ivern at all time.

Q, W and E are the same.

R : Some Kind of Frenzy buff for Daysi to go Crazy lol ;)

I think this is a wonderful idea and would bring life back into Ivern. I think his brush should make it so any champion standing in it will do bonus damage to epic monsters
