Penns3 votesWell Im pretty sure Viper is rank 1 atm with 70% win rate on Riven, Adrian Riven is in top 15 too with around 60%. But you dont need to be rank 1 to know how to play a matchup.

Our concern isn't the top .5% best with a champion. Our concern is how that champion performs 99% of the time for the rest of the playerbase. That is like writing laws for the top 1% richest people then wondering why 99% are miserable.

E'ing her and walling her means nothing unless you flank her after she spammed everything to push the wave, and that won't be enough to kill her before her cd's come up. She can chain her stun and knockup and remove most of your hp with that combo, while your ghouls watch. If she goes anything other than Black cleaver and you have a sunfire you can 1v1 her, IF she lets you. Don't know who wins if its sunfire vs black cleaver but sunfire delays better purchases, like ZZ rot/Banner, deadmans, triforce/cleaver.

A much simpler way to beat Riven is to not feed her and watch her be mediocre in mid-late game without being crazy fed like usual.
