Not the exactly words from riot but they always say that they try to fix top lane

So i open PBE today and i saw one more ADC that gets bigger base AD from a melee champions!

And i have to ask why? why a range champion have more AD than melee champion? I mean how hard is to see that if you pick a melee champion top and you are against a champion that hae 60 base AD and hit you from 550 range and you have 55 and you are at 125 range you would lose?

I mean back in the seasons 1-2-3-4 the ADC was having 50-55 AD MAX now more and more ADCs get 57-61 AD...why?

Here is a list

Kalista 62.92 I know about her passive 90% AD Graves 60.83 Jinx 58.46 Sivir 57.46 Lucian 57.46 Kog'Maw 57.46 Tristana 56.96 Ashe 56.508 Corki 60 Soon

So why? why is that allowed from riot?

I mean yorick/Xin/Garen/Darius/etc have lower AD than an ADC...rito? logic? what?

They've never once said that. BS rhetoric to push your made up point

I do think that they should be re-pressing the point that there was a reason the support is next to the ADC and not the mid laner or however the support sees fit.

Weak early, strong late. As in get carried early, carries the game late. ADCs need to be weak and protected by the supports in the early game in order to make sure the ADC farms enough gold to be THE late game monster they were meant to be.

How they are currently, you don't actually have a lot of incentive to not pick a ranged top. I'd be willing to argue that the only reason people don't usually bring a ranged champion top lane is because they want to play other champions that could only be viable top or jungle.

How we can do this would be simple. Just reduce, and by reduce, I mean gut, the base damage her autos and abilities do while also cranking up their scaling and the items they build.

(Mages are a completely different beast, but its safe to say they should follow a similar standard.)

In essence, ranged tops increasing in prevalence is due in large part to damage creep. They stopped being weak early and their early games were buffed across the board.
