So on the support item changes...

With the changes to the Support Class as a whole, a couple items have been changed. I specifically want to know about the changes to . The changes state that these items will increase Healing and Shielding by 15% when bought.

So will these items increase self healing as well as heals and shields to allies? Does it apply to self healing abilities like Swain Ult and Vlad Q and Ultimate? Life Steal? Fiddlesticks Drain? I already made a thread on this but I really want to know. I'm asking because if the items worked that way, and if it stacked with the healing increase from and the 8% in the mastery tree, it could be abused, with a 48% increase in healing for certain champions (By certain Champions I mean Swain)

I don't know how it's coded, so if I can get a response on how it is then that would be great:)

I'm pretty sure it was stated to only apply to other champions.

I think it works for self-heals/shields. That being said, you really want to build an Ardent Censer on Swain just for that? Apart from the passive, that's not exactly the best item for him...

Xypherous said in the PBE thread regarding this item that it wouldn't amplify all sources of healing like the Spirit Visage. So I'm almost 99% sure it is expressly for heals on others. He never mentions any interactions between the items and non supports like Vlad or Swain. He did say that they might nerf Soraka (again) for the items existence.

I'm 99% sure that Xypherous had life-steal/spell vamp/base regen in mind when saying that. And it doesn't amplify the heal/shield you RECEIVE from other people either, so that's another difference with Spirit.

But I'm pretty sure it amplifies ALL your heals/shields, including the SELF-heals/shields
