What are you guys even doing? Pay attention to the game you're playing.

Talk about how powerful certain champions with zero counterplay are. Talk about how stupid CInderhulk and the tank meta (especially Cho and SIon and Sejuani) are.

What about how broken penetration is right now?

Get on the right page here, guys. Just because you're silver/gold doesn't mean you can pretend that you know what's OP and what's UP without investing a ton of time into this game and really taking a good, long, hard look at it.

The difference is when I make that Kha thread and they tell me all about how to build Kha with Warrior and Hydra when we very clearly made it obvious it was a joke thread.

Honestly, GD knows more about balance than G&B does and they've pretty far off point too.

No, GD just had a bit of fun last night. That joke thread has people from G&B telling me that I should build warrior and Hydra, because they have no idea what the thread is about and I'm being upvoted, not by GD. but by the guys from G&B who think Kha'Zix specifically is in a bad spot right now (he's not in too bad of a spot right now, it's just that the wonderful tank meta is screwing all assassins (that aren't Zed). If I were to make a thread about all of Shaco's glaring problems? Well, I don't think it'd go far (only one way to find out, though).

GD is a community. It's a strange community, but it is a clearly defined group who can play a larger role in these boards.

G&B is not a community. It is a subsection of the boards used only for sorting threads. The people who post in G&B swap between sections as needed and have no sense of loyalty toward G&B in the same sense GDers have for GD. You're talking to a defined group of people who don't actually exist.

There is not a community for each subsection of the forum, there is only GD.

Really? What would you define as "what needs to be fixed?" Since from what I can see, most of your definition of "fixed" is "nerf the hell out of X champ I hate at the time". Just because I spend a lot of time on GD doesn't mean you can say I'm dumb and brush away any opinion I have.

Why do I feel like I know what the need is? Several times (and I'm talking quite a bit here) I've predicted (and been proven right) about something that will become powerful or mtea before it's happened because I watch the patch notes, watch what happens because of the patch notes, and then I can make inferences on what the next patch notes are going to look like based on how the game is functioning right now. Wrote a post, decided to tldr it because seriously writing shit that isn't bad/completely toxic is hard.

In general, I post semi regularly, usually in threads that have an easy answer ("Why was Sion reworked?") or threads created by someone who does not know any basic math ("lol I had 700 armor why did I die to Kalista"). While I do try and post on actual balance sometimes, more often than not I only look and upvote/ignore. I don't have the knowledge needed to comment on most of the games subjects.

However, when you come into a forum you rarely post entirely to berate them it ticks me off. Do you want a discussion on penetration? Make one with evidence, don't come in and go "What the hell guys, why aren't you all posting about penetration". Yes, you have a lot of game knowledge and time; you still need to have an actual point and topic besides "this champ is OP".

As two side notes, one, sorry for being a dick. Been a long day and most of the posts I've seen on Gameplay and Balance have been from the same GD shit spammers which makes me understandably annoyed (...kinda like how the RP people must have felt last time GD invaded). Two, if you post on GB at least make your thread NOT follow the exact same shitpost strategy of every other GD post.

Your first half was going over his abilities, which is generally eh as they don't tell that much without the rest their stats; for example, you left out that Cho is immobile and constantly pushes the lane.

Your second half clumsily shoved OP into a champions name and called them freelo, which is almost never a sign of someone looking for actual discussion. While your points are nice, you still haven't explained why anyone else should see Cho'Gath as overpowered; all you've done is gone over his basic kit then thrown up your hands and said he needs nerfs.

You need to give actual reasons why Cho'Gath should be considered OP. Is he warping the game and forcing picks that can survive vs Cho instead of picks based on teamcomp or synergy? Is his kit so inherently broken that he needs to be weak until the rework? Is he currently dominating everywhere, and if so, why him? Give us more than just the kit, give us actual reasons.

As I said G&B doesn't have a community backing it, so the few ideas that come out of it that are actually good get no traction. GD has a community, so if they have good ideas they might be able to do something, if they can organize for something serious that is.

We don't bother because we can just talk about balance over on GD and (usually) not get downvoted by a ton of bronze and silver players pretending like they know better than you do with years less experience playing the game.
