Anyone else start off with a horrible losing streak?

This is the shit that reminds me of why I stopped playing. So far I'm 2-8 in ranked. EVERY match someone is straight feeding (like a 1/11 Zed I had), picks some troll shit (like Nasus jungle) or is all around negative spamming "ff". Pile that on top of all the broken ass champs that are out there with out measly ONE ban we get. I ban ? Fuck it they pick . I ban ? Fuck it they pick . On and on.

Anyone else having this extremely fun experience like me so far?

God forbid Riot decide to add another formula that includes individual skill. I surely hope they also do not add some way for the system to determine how much a player dragged your team down by afking, inting, griefing, and some jerk deciding not to surrender a 4 v 5. Now that would destroy ranked integrity.

I think that's too hard for them, only external pages full of mathematician geniuses like op.gg can do that /s Well i think they want to keep the casino thing to keep people playing like winning stream>losing streak repeat even if not deserved. I don't get why keep the SoloQ system when the game isn't balanced properly for roles, there are roles with way too much impact than others it makes no sense for people who play those less impactful roles without any duos...

Example: Nowadays i only see pro's duoing mostly with the jungler of their own team when they want to climb faster or duo botlaning supp-adc to secure laningphase bot phase and mid-late game '-'

For real. Maybe they should have a pool of LP loss that gets distributed according to how you did in your role. You still lose LP, but the dude who fed 0/10 gets the lion share. I have played 5 placement games so far. 4 of them had bot feed like crazy, and there was no chance. I could hold my own lane, but it wouldnt matter when 4 of them would crash mid cause they could roam so much. Played Gold-plat in jg until season 8, where the rune changes bent over half my jungle champs and didn't even try to climb. Not sure I will continue this seasons either. I'll just play my ARAM account this season again.

The matchmaking is ridiculous. Either that or I'm just really unlucky getting useless fucking afk-farming junglers every game while the enemy jungler is ganking everything.

Same except it's bot lane losing lane before ANYONE on ether team had the chance to gank at all.

They will also be roleplaying as lee sin because they never ever respond to my mia pings, so bad mid laners im stomping gets away with being bad because my bot lane has no damn mini-map -.-

Yup. I finished silver 2 in preseason (different account). So far they have given me Bronze II in Top, Jungle, Bottom and Support while I'm in Bronze 1 for mid. Not finished placements yet but I've lost multiple games now and I can't seem to get ahead no matter what I do. Horrible team after horrible team and it's fucking tilting.

Me but i have 2 theories about this horrible losing streak 1.- The matchmaking system is still a casino machine with only win streaks-losing streaks even when undeserved that doesn't rewards tryharding and individual performance 2.- im playing adc without any duo. Even when i was diamond 4 before they removed the d5 divisions im struggling to climb out of gold 2 lmao. Just had a game with a good lead and then someone just afk'ed for the entire of the game to continue the losing streak O.o

thats why i dodge games. if i see our comb is teribble or they have to much "OP" champs we cant counter in some way i just dont play the game. worked fine for me 5/0 - W/L with ASol midlane but 2 games dodged yet.

Yep. Here. I think it's because MMR is shit ATM because of the reset. There are Plats playing vs Gold's etc. Wait 3 weeks and it get better I guess.

Was Plat 1 in preseason. Lost my first placement game. So my start Elo was G2. I play Voli a lot and invade with him. This worked perfectly fine in Plat 1. Got firstblood for my team almost every time. But in placements it was horrible. The guys had 0 clue and the invades failed so often because they chase like bronzys. After I losed 3 games in a row because of shit like that i started to get tilted and played like shit. In the end i lost 6 or 7 out of 10 games and ended in G1. I got into Plat Promos: lose/win/lose/win/.... last chance... 5th promo game... got an afk dude but he was in game so we couldn't remake ... Promos lost. I was so tilted that I quit for that night. Today i realized I need new jungle pathing to succeed. So i made some changes and started a new try with non-tilt mindset and voila i rush though promos 3:0 and dominated most of my games today. I hope it stays that way.

P.S. I hate the same champions as you.

Yea, I did most of my placements before afternoon when everyone comes home from work or school because I had a day off. So I had mostly good placement games. But after that I've had so many weird games. I played a game with Rumble 8/4/14 and tried to not do stupid mistakes, not throw and stuff but coudln't win. Then I had a game with fiora 10/4/6 or something.

My botlane totally lost it and I had a Sylas jungle going 0/11.. But even after I 1v3 (I'm not trying to come off like I'm that good, but that's what happened) and killed the fed Jhin, they were too fed and won. And I've had more of these games where I normally would be able to carry, but somehow their team just had at least one player that carried much harder(or one game when I played Corki mid for my first time pretty much, but we stomped hard instead because enemy team totally lost it).

Well, after tilting and going 0 12 on Illaoi, I'm considering taking a break for a week or two before ranked stabilizes enough to get more even games and easier to carry. Maybe it's like this every season? Can't remember tho

Yup. It's made worse by the fact that I win lane almost every single game, but then bot goes 1/12. In fact, it's not only bot. Just today I had a jungle Camille POWERFARMING. On CAMILLE. We won topen and mid, but bot lost hard and Camille didn't hank once. Idk man, playing well consistently is supposed to make you climb, but I have a better chance of getting carried than trying to contribute.

Placements were kinda horrible for me 3 wins and 5 losses. Other than that I've been winning alot now. Also I don't tilt as often anymore. I pretty much accept some trash games and move on to next. When I have that neutral/positive mindset it's so easy to play well and actually come back in rough games, which matters.

As a jungler, convinced I'm going to land in Bronze 1 from Silver 1 due to the jungle nerfs being so ridiculously harsh. Have teams screaming at me every game, I just can't do shit. They literally nerfed the role down an entire division.

Doesn't help that I keep getting 1st-2nd pick and counterpicked by the entire enemy teams thinking JG is still relevant.

On the flip side, as a first time ADC with 0 practice, I seem to be winning my way up, may actually land in gold fairly quickly with ADC.

Actually they added iron. So that shakes up things. As far as jg goes you need to play with a duo at our elo to have a shot and map control. You cant rely on your lanes not feeding

I've never duoed and had no problem, but I suspect you're right in that I'm gonna need some gimmicky duo stuff to get my rank back with the current state of the jungle.

So far I've lost just about any solo game as a jg. As a lane I can carry and apply pressure to my lane and other lanes. Jg doesnt have as good of an impact with a lead thanks to exp changes. With a duo Im pretty sure I've won every ranked game so far. If it works with a duo super, if not just hope you have 1 competent laner and a supp who knows how to ward properly for objectives

I barely even notice the jungle changes; you can still 1v5 easily on the role. If you don't believe me here's my smurf. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=rare+riv3n You can still 1v5 as jungle if you know what you're doing.

"here's my smurf" lol I can 1v5 if I smurf down as well. I'm talking about relative to your abilities/where you're at. My JG rating though buffs and nerfs pretty much hasn't moved until now. Who gives a crap what you can do on a smurf. I can mid lane Soraka if I go low enough.

I don't get what's the difference between your games and mine if we're both on the same role. I am just saying the jungle changes weren't really bad at all, you're just using it as an excuse. It is still very easy to 1v5 as a jungler...in any elo.

That is exactly what happened to me, placed Bronze 1 from Silver 1. I'm not a jungler though. It's not like I was carrying my games or anything, I definitely could have and should have done better, but I literally had only one placement game where my adc had more kills than deaths, one where my adc was even at the end, and 6 where the adc had at least twice as many deaths as kills. It's not just the adc, but that was what I noticed the most. Probably the worst was when I had a first time Sylas jungle though, probably my fault for not dodging that one.

Just had a game where my bot lane premade was just 2 bots. I know someone will tell me they're players because they were in a club but they acted exactly as the bots in my old AI games where I tested champions acted. 3 people appear mid? Suddenly they rotate mid. 4 top? Suddenly the adc rotates to the top lane, autos 2 minions, then backs just out of the enemy top laners vision range.

Apparently I'm Silver 4 as a top laner because I lost a game where my jungler was afk wishing death upon my support and her child. Are you telling me I can play mid, get lucky, and be considered a good g1 midlaner?

I won my first placement game, then lost the next 10 lol. I think I played "bad" in like 2 of those games. I could be fed af as a top laner and still lose because my bot decided to feed 8 kills over to the enemy Vayne by 10 minutes.

Start of season is always terrible but it's never been THIS bad for me. At least you don't lose LP during placements so having 4 wins 14 losses doesn't feel as bad as it sounds lmao.

That's pretty much what would happen to me. I would get ahead and roam to try and get other lanes ahead. No matter what I did no one else could do anything but feed. It was frustrating.

It really does feel like this and it is so lame. Lost first 3/4 games mid, picked 1st in 3 of them got counter picked hard, and still went even or ahead early, only to be crapped on a by a fed bot. Went 3/4 wins in jg, only loss I went 3/0 took both drag and rift, but bot and dove and died 4 times in the first 5 minutes and kayn and bot both fed up crushed the game. It seems like if your bot or jungler sucks it doesn't matter what you do in other lanes. If my top or mid sucks, the game is easily still winnable. Last game my bot was holding their own, but rengar top was getting rolled by a Yas. So I came up and crushed top and Yas really had little influence even though he got fed early. Early feed at bot is almost unstoppable.

Not really, I've been going about even, but the game feels like garbage

Match is basically determined by whichever team has more meta picks. The gap between the OP champs and the OK champs is so large you might as well just dodge if your team doesn't have at least 2 OPs.

Everything dies too fast, all the defense items suck, lane-bullies never fall off because their dmg stays insane the entire game. ADC is a joke of a position unless you pick Lucian/Vayne/Ez/Kai, there's no incentive to play as a team when assassins are so strong

75% winrate on placement matches so not really. Probably because i played Renekton and got a very decent lead early. The games which i didn't get a lead i usually fell behind and ended up doing really bad though.

How'd your bot lanes do though? I feel like we are falling right back into bot lane deciding the game early, with jg having quite an effect on bot results.

Only ever lost to Jinx , because she is so unstoppable when she is fed. The moment she goes from 1/4 to 4/4 she wins the game i swear.

I lost four in a row then won four in a row. For anyone who hasn't done their placements yet, I would strongly recommend waiting a couple months. I got placed in gold where last year I got placed in plat, and there are also diamond and some master players in the gold elo so there's a ton of one sided stomps. After a few months the people who really should not be in your rating will probably get promoted.

I made a new account to reset my MMR, and I just get eternally 4 man ganks no matter what lane I go, every single game.

I'd love to go Mord bot, but the supports in Iron suck; I had a Leona that would use her gap closer in the middle of the lane, WHILE THE ENEMY WAS BACKED. Mord adc doesn't work unless you have a decent support.

Mid and top I get ganked to hell all game, and if I play under tower, they just dive and kill me anyways

Jungle, well.. I feel sorry for junglers after the last patch. Riot just keeps nerfing the jungle. I don't want to be a free kill

Also, I've only dodged twice on this account.

First time dodging, I got 5 min penalty Second dodge: I got A 30 MINUTE PENALTY WTF
