How to fix league of legends (guide to fixing broken mechanics)
So, its no secret a lot of champions are anti fun to play against. most of them in fact, some are better known then others. This is my PERSONAL OPINION on how to fix it. This will be a detailed thread on CHAMPION BALANCE. Over all I believe Click lock-on SHOULD NOT exist however; I will include it just for simplicity sake. If I don't include a champion, That most likely means I think they are a fair balanced pick, and if you got killed, it was probably your fault. Don't point out Item specific stuff. I.E. Maw, mercurial, Zhonyas. The reason for this is because, for theses champions these items are irrelevant to these anti fun, frustrating "Characters" Lets be honest these champions are legal BlackCancerAidsEbolaSiphilisItus. This list is in alphabetical order.Now that is out of the way, Lets get into it.
TL:DR My opinion, don't include items.
Ahri, Over all Ahri is MOSTLY fair, though, there are 3 things I would like to address. The length she can charm for is, Pointless Shorten it from maybe 2.5 seconds to 1.0 seconds as well as converting the true damage on her second pass of Orb of deception to magic damage instead of true damage and reduce the move speed buff on orb of deception as well.
Akali. before level 6 shes not that bad but, She hits a monster power spike the second she hits level 6 She becomes this Low cool down, Low cost, high damage murderous assassin that only really only struggles against tanks. increase her cool downs so, she doesn't leap around the map, increase the energy cost of all of her ability so She doesn't flat out one shot anything that is not a tank. her ult is a targeted ability so, Make it WORTHLESS for anything except gap closing.
Annie, remove her stun all together she doesn't need it, Not for the damage she cranks out in 0.169 seconds (Faster then you can blink) greatly increase her disintegrate and remove a ton of damage because, its a targeted ability as well as increasing mana cost and remove its Free farm, No cost passive.
Caitlyn, Rework her passive so she can only head shot when she nets, or an enemy steps on a trap. Limit her to 1 trap and give it a 15 second cool down, the reason for this is Caitlyn will literally Zone you under your own tower with 5 traps and you are powerless to stop it, that or you try too and you take 300 damage at level 6 because, you stepped on a trap and she got a free head shot.
Cassiopeia, Remove the slow on Miasma and increase the cool down on twin fang, and remove the healing and mana regen.
Cho'Gath remove the slow on rupture, reduce the feral screams silence duration to 1 second. convert the True damage Feast to flat physical damage and convert his AP scaling into AD.
Darius, increase the stacks of hemorrhage educe the duration of his slow, remove the healing on his Q and turn the true damage on his ult into physical damage.
Diana, reduce the damage on her moon silver blade passive. remove moon light passive from Crescent strike remove the slow from moonfall and give lunar rush and remove the no cool down thing.
Fizz, remove no unit collision from nimble fighter, remove the immunity on playful trickster and decrease the hit box and range on chum the water.
Gangplank, increase the mana cost and cool down on parley. remove the crowd control effect cure from remove scurvy, Only let him have one barrel at a time.
Garen, Reduce the health and increase the passive active timer to 30 seconds. remove the removal to slows on decisive strike and reduce the silence to 1 second. remove the Villain passive on Demacian justice.
Heimerdinger, reduce the passive healing to towers. reserve the secondary passives to Ultimate specific ability.
Karma, remove the slow on focused resolve and instead root karma in place. Shes supposed to be focusing after all.
Kassadin rework his passive, remove null sphere passive spell shield. remove the mana restoration. remove the slow passive from force pulse and give his ult a 30 second cool down.
Kararina, increase her cool downs and greatly reduce her damage.
Kennen reduce the energy gain from mark of the storm. electric surge should remove mark of the storm stacks. greatly reduce the range of his Ult.
Leblonc. reduce sigil of malice damage and increase its cool down from 5 seconds up to 15. remove the Shatter orb bounce thing completely Slow leblonc during ethereal chains. and reduce her damage.
Malzahar, rework void shift, he shouldn't have immunity. remove the silence on call the void. remove the reset on void swarm, reduce the damage, increase the mana cost, and remove the spread from malefic visions. Make outside damage of nether grasp disrupt nether grasp so, like if a minion hits malz during nether grasp nether grasp malz is silenced for 1.0 seconds.
Master yi, increse the Cool down on Alpha strike, increase the mana cost of meditate by 20 and rework it so meditate doesn't gain passive stacks or sit on a frozen timer. make yi Slow-able during highlander.
Morgana, reduce her black shields damage absorb by 300 and root morgana in place reducing the ranger of soul shackle, rooting her in place, giving her counter play so your only option isn't burn flash.
Nasus, reduce the number of sacks he gets from each siphoning strike make wither a skill shot greatly reduce the damage spirit fire does double the mana cost on soul fire
Olaf convert true damage into physical damage, remove clense form his ult.
Pantheon, Double his spell stacks, increase his mana cost, reduce his damage, his stun duration completely and remove the increased low health damage on spear shot.
Rengar, remove his ult, and have his ult activate the secondary ability on his ability.
Riven increase the cool down on broken wings, remove the stun from ki burst reduce the shield riven gets from valor and reduce the passive damage on blade of the exile.
Ryze remove his passive bonus damage based on his mana, increase his mana cost and greatly increase his cool downs remove the move speed from over load
Soraka, reduce the healing, increase the CDR
Swain, rework his passive remove the slow from decrepify remove the extra damage from torment remove the health gain from ravenous flock.
Teemo, recude the blind duration, and limit the number of mushrooms he can have as well as cut their damage in half. and reduce the splash
Tryndamere, remove the critical from battle fury remove the damage reduction debuff to mocking shout and let turrets kill tryndamere during undying rage.
Twitch remove true damage, and invisibility as well as nurf the damage on spray and pray by 150 points and make it deal reduce damage for each champion it hits.
Vayne, increase the tumble cool down Give remove percent max heath true damage, remove the silver bolt stack from condemn.
Veigar, same thing as nasus, make stacks mean less, reduce the stun on oblivion gate, make his ult a skill shot.
Yasuo, increase the CDR on steel tempest, give sweeping strike an actual cool down. give wind wall a 400 damage absorb.
Zyra, same thing as heimerdinger reduce the number of plants she can have, reduce the damage each plant can deal.
One last thing, these changes are optimal in my opinion, I prefer Calculated skill based game play designed to force people to improve and climb during competitive play. I am aware some of these nurfs seem harsh but, Lets be honest this is not league of legend this is league of hard CC and I hate that about this game. every thing I asked to remove I asked to remove for a reason though, if you want a general statement this was typically my logic. I feel like game play should reward you for putting time and effort into your game and learning your champion rather then just punishing you for playing a normal game let alone ranked.
powerful mages should have long cool downs so their "magic" can recharge.
Assassins should have long cool downs and should be very costly to give the actual feel of a master assassin.
I hate the idea of free farming champions like Heimerdinger and Zyra, who really accomplish nothing but, have nearly flawless CS because of there turret mechanic. which is frustrating because the end result is one shots left and right.
Tanks suck, They deal too much damage, are too mobile, most deal true damage and rush past every one to murder the enemy carry because everything I just mentioned.
on top of all of that you have that I call sub classes like mage tanks which, are completely annoying, mostly boasting and over all just complete douche bags to be around for every one involved. this was just the best way I had seen to divide it up. if this thread gets enough likes I will do a balancing thread on items next.
