When he snowballs, he becomes a freaking monster. His teamfight presence and sustain are way to strong.
Can we please nerf either his sustain a little bit and or bring up his q mana cost? Right now, his q mana cost is practically nonexistent, even during laning. I want to feel good about baiting out his q during laning, but I don't when it barely costs anything.
Tychusfindlay9193 votesWith his win rate sitting at around 51%, LCS presence this season amounting to nothing, and overall viability being average, I don't think Darius is an issue. He's in a fine spot.
He's a lane bully against certain champions and has a decent scale but not hyper scale unless if he can get off noxian might (which is a wee bit harder than some people think). I think his sustain is fine since he has to position himself to hit 3 enemies for full effect and has to go through a .75 second delay before his axe swings.
His ult can be totally ruined by a shield or heal, and unless if he gets noxian might off in a team fight he's nothing more than a tank with less CC and slightly more damage.

Couldn't Yasuo stay out of his range, trade quickly then dash back out, and whittle his health down before either forcing Darius out or killing him? And then outscale him as the game goes on?
I played against Darius the other day as Yas and it wasn't that hard, though the Darius wasn't particularly good.

Darius would plan it so yasuo is not near Darius Minions, plus darius has the W and E option. Darius life steal is pretty darn good. and darius should win pre level 12 until yasuo gets blood thirster pretty easily. Remember darius can ult almost 400 true damage at level 6 which isnt too hard to get off. The combination of a few autos, Q, E, and R will WRECK yasuo

Highly doubt it. With built in sustain and a massive AD steroid built into Darius's new kit after his rework, he has all the tools to duel yasuo from level 3 onward (yasuo can cheese Darius pretty damn hard at level 2 with his dash and Q). Even with nearby minions, yasuo cannot hope to win a duel against Darius or trade since apprehend nullifies any attempt Yasuo makes to dash out of Darius's range. As with all melee matchups, when Darius is able to reengage and prolong fights, he typically comes out on top.

Jax is more of a skill matchup in my experience. Pantheon can semi bully Darius pre 6 but not as well as say vayne or gnar. Post level 6 Pantheon gets shat on since noxian guillotine is a much more effective dueling ability than grand skyfall for very obvious reasons.
Illaoi is a skill matchup.
Taliyah vayne and gnar I agree with. At that point, it becomes a matter of "can I apprehend them?"
If Darius can land an apprehend then he will heavily win a trade against those three. If they can kite Darius well then Darius will have a miserable time top lane.
