It's BS that you can't remake if someone connected but purchased no items and didn't leave fountain

I've had this happen probably a dozen times in the last few weeks and it's disgusting to lose ranked games this way. The game is literally 4v5 but it doesn't matter because they connected at some point.

I get that that they'd have it this way for duos so they can't abuse remakes whenever invades go wrong etc. but why for solo players too?
