xin zhao came out about 5 years ago and he really needs a rework, like all his abilities need to be changed. he has gotten very stale and boring with his simple kit. sion came out in 2009 and he got his rework about 5 years later. so i think that it is time for xin zhao to get a rework. and he needs a visual update badly too...

i agree that a rework must be made. the problem with xin zhao isnt being simple, it's being TOO simple. It's either he auto-attacks as a melee champion or he doesn't. There is no room for his kit to make any plays. His kit is simply to go in and hopefully not get kited with cc, or just split push and avoid late game fights.

I kinda see the argument here.
I mean, I agree that simple champions aren't necessarily bad, but when a champions potential for gameplay is literally just "right-click, mash every button, and hope for the best" I think there might be a problem.
Add to that the lovely feeling of getting beat by someone who just right-clicked on you (since he snowballs insanely fast) and you have a very unhealthy situation.
A Xin rework would be very greatly appreciated.
