Do desired lanes change my ELO/Tier?

Here's the thing...I'm willing to play absolutely every role, however, I also know my weaknesses. I stink at ADC...I just do...not to mention I find the role and the champ selection very boring. However, I'm the type of person that will generally always fill, even if I'm first pick. It seems like every single game...the two spots nobody wants are ADC and Support. I like support and will happily play it...however, I also know there's know way I'll ever carry a game as Nami.

Is this common? Is it always these roles? I even see it on my smurf who I've leveled up to 20 now all via normal games...once you hit the spot where people adere to the meta...it's always ADC/Support. It's just really annoying as I'd love to practice Top/Jungle...but every game I've played in the last month on my main or smurf is always the same....4 people screaming for Mid/Jungle/Top. I know a response will probably be...."just do teambuilder"...but I'm hesitant because that seems like if you're going to pick Jungle...you should be good at the role you designated for yourself.

I'd like to think it's just what happens at lower skill....but a stream I love watching....they got stuck last pick 5 of 6 games....only once did they not get stuck with ADC....and that time they got stuck with support and they're a known Diamond player who mains mid. What are other people's experience with this?

this is a terrible misconception that you can't carry as support. you can absolutely carry a game as nami. get your ADC fed out of his mind by landing your skillshots and harassing properly in lane. you should rarely lose a lane if you get amazing with nami, no matter how bad your adc is.

if you still feel like your impact as nami is too low, then try other supports that emphasize snowballing and teamwork. leona for example - you go in with leona and everyone knows what it means. it means kill whoever leona is on, because it does a ton of extra damage and they cant fight back. she also has a knack for winning lanes extremely hard at lower elo, and bad people tend to focus her in teamfights out of inexperience. another good, similar example here would be braum or alistar.

I've been watching a challenger support main and he easily carries as nami/soraka/janna. I've been climbing pretty well with support Zyra myself. Got S4-S1 over 4 days of spamming ranked.

There are more solo lane mains than players willing to play the other 3 roles.

Most of the time I play support...which I enjoy...I get paired with an ADC who runs into constant 2v1 in melee form. No matter how good I am at Nami....I can't help the Ashe that runs up point blank to a Volibear support before firting a shot.....that happened literally 4 times one game in the first 10 minutes. People claiming you can carry a game on support....requires someone at least competent in ADC...which rarely seems to happen....because nobody wants to play ADC.

they do change the elo of your tear; if you're getting tear as jungle you're probably ~800 elo, if getting tear as adc that's maybe ~1100-1300 elo. tear as support/mid is ~1500-1800 elo, but tear top (aka ryze) is ~2500 elo
