Possible Tryndamere Balancing/Rework(Direction of Yas rework, not much change), and a Ranked Note.
UPDATED- New Statistics Link is up, everything is in order, and detailed. Link is below.
( I write this from a perspective of being both a person who has played Tryndamere, and gone against Tryndamere several times.) I'm sorry that it infringes on the fact that it is one of your co-creators' champion, but i'm tired of the fact how painstakingly scumbag and cheap the champ is, and even though he's rarely picked, he influences games TOO much to be warranted as balanced. Attached is some of the stating I found via using practice tool. I voice said concerns in there, but i'll list what should be considered, and i'm not trying to gut the poor warlord, but he's pulling a Fiora(before the movespeed nerfs, that time period.) where he's gotten little to no nerfs, and some buffs. The Movespeed buffs are in the next patch for Fiora, so im just adding that as undoing a nerf. (Sure, you lost your free movespeed on ult activation, but no one should have that much stick potential without HITTING someone.) That aside, please read the suggested nerfs I'd want considered for possible nerfs, and yes, that means not all of them need to happen:
> 1.** His passive crit chance should be either nerfed by at least 10 percent, or be like Yasuo, and have it do 10 or 15% less damage. Makes tanks/ champs with low impact/terrible early game have a bit of a easier time against him in the early lane phase. Or just replace the crit chance with healing increase on Q or something.**
> 2. Q attack damage passive should be reduced, and q healing at later ranks decreased, but buffed early. Gives way too much stating when he ults and gets the full splendor of it.
> **
> 3. W slow at all ranks should be nerfed (more on late than early). The current slow is massive if you consider the passive of his E on champions, getting 2 seconds off of the E's cooldown off of every crit landed on a champion. Also ties into Point 4 on the list.**
> 4. E Cooldown reduction passive bonus on champs is removed. Build listed in screenshot, plus the speed you can gain
and
, allows easier sticking power, and hard to peel off. Takes only two crits on a champion to have it back up with that build alone, and it's the highest winning build as of now.
> 5. Ult Fury gained is nerfed (25,50,75). Allows for easier punish early, but around the same late game as previous rendition. And its not like you wont hit them, or turret dive with this ult on.
> 6. **Gets 3 seconds of ult duration under crowd control (If he pops it under cc, 3 seconds, any activation after cc is still 5 seconds.). , remove the ability of ulting under crowd control, or nerf the duration to 4 seconds. Reduces the punishment on playing a tank, or someone who has cc but gets outscaled. Hardly affects his 1v1 stature, unless against tanks.
**
This may sound like bitching, sure, but honestly, **i'd love it if a few of these points were considered. Not all the points, a few. **People could suggest Kayle getting nerfed, but at least her ult doesn't last longer than his, and she has to click on herself (or self cast) it, and can give to another ally, but she doesn't have unkillable status, as she cant ult under crowd control. It's just what his kit consists of, is something that consists of godlike splitpush, and cannot be contested unless by a champ as strong as him. It forces teams to devote more than one person (if contesting player is a tank.) and forces bruiser picks, but even then he goes even with all of them, and then can out scale most.(Minus Fiora, but Fiora is countered if he has ult.)
I dislike the uncertainty of the pick(Not knowing if he will be picked.), and the cheese it can contain. I main almost all the tanks that are meta. (Even before they were meta, minus Zac.) And this pick just autowins the matchup every time (Considering even new thorn, the reflect and wounds does nothing to truly deter him, considering the CDR build being a thing.), and if you dont answer him, he takes your base, so you are forced to make your team be 3v5 for god knows how long, then he just e's away like a chicken and you cant catch him. Not even the new Nasus can do much against him, unless the enemy picked full AD. As much as this pains me to post, i'm just sick of how untouched the champion is, his current state is that of a cheap cheese pick with few to little counters. (Since he can ult under ** Crowd Control**.) And when I play him, my team just flat out loses, even if I drag 2 people to answer me. He's like Yasuo, the supposed god on the enemy, and straight up trash on your team. I'd love to partake in playtesting the changes if requested, and willing to discuss possible paths and different changes. I just want him to be something like Ryze (minus the plethora of reworks.),** a champ that is fun, takes some skill, rewarding if you master him, and has counterplay that exists in the meta. The Community's champion basically. **
Sure, he's a champion that is underplayed, I understand that, but if someone takes time to master him, he becomes more than a distraction, he becomes a threat to a comp INSTANTLY. Hell, even Kayle is underplayed or ignored, but she has one of the highest winrates (not the biggest) in soloqueue to date as of now, sitting at 53.2% (21st of top laners, because of play rate and other stats) according to Champion.gg. ** And that wraps up on the Tryndamere "rant". But on a more personal note, take Flex seriously people, as much as Soloqueue is the crux of any player's dream, how do you think the pro scene would survive on just that alone? Teamwork is the bread and butter of this game as it stands now, and Riot + the Pro Scene have made that clear. I'm getting judged for my current rank in soloqueue (P5), despite being almost Diamond (Got trolled in the first 3 matches of Diamond promos, wasn't happy about that) in that queue 3 months ago. I also recall certain said masses complaining about the removal of team ranked two/one year(s) ago.** And I dont 5-man, 4-man, 3-man, or even duo with anyone (Unless someone asks and im in the mood), im just a guy who goes at it alone as a Enabler player, a guy who plays for the team, not some guy 1-tricking Yasuo, Riven, and all sorts of one man vs the world type champions, hell, I mained Maokai back in his old rendition.** You can judge me, call me boosted garbage, or whatever, but would you even be satisfied, ruining a game someone clearly devotes time to? Would you like it if someone judged you face value on that rank alone, and not your play? Think about it.**
