Kindred Top - The Anti-Juggernaut/Tank

Because assassins go mid, and tanks now are going top, and because kindred was free to play I took her top.

It was a pretty easy matchup though I will add I was facing darius, someone who I mained a while back. but kindred just destroyed hi.

He played decently well, E everytime I came close enough but I would always Q away then E for the slow and poke him down till he would die. It was great, until a nidalee 100 - dead comboed me.

So I thought fuck it, and built a BotRK + B.Greaves + Black Cleaver and now I dealt more damage, had more hp and had 5x the farm of darius who now was crying to nida to camp in all chat. I 2 v 1'ed Dar + Nida.

Try Kindred top its amazing she has:-

Sustain (small but better once you get BotRK) Mobility (2 sec with ur W) Anti-Tank Slow (70% at max rank) Poke Tryndameres ult for everyone %max hp damage with her passive Ranged++

But I would reccommend build atleast one 'Juggernaut' item. Also dont do this if they have a yas top or some shit please.

Roll past 30 minutes and your team will be screaming "Oh I wish we had a tank, instead we have two adcs"

This is why I'm not really a fan of kindred mid or top.. she's reliant on snowballing the lane, and making sure the game is over before they finish their tank items, because kindred is way too squishy to do anything on her own. She needs engages, which is usually the tank's job, and the problem is she took over that role. Hopefully you had a good support who could help.

Yes not everything in top lane is a tank, but kindred is just exceptionally squishy and easy for the jungle to camp. You need a lot of marks to make it to late game, and how do you plan on getting all those marks if you're only in one lane and the jungler is clearing the camps?

It's fun to do though. Not going to lie it's ok in norms. Just don't think it's a thing worth trying in ranked.

Played against a kindred top as darius once and ruined her entire day. Yawn. Next.

Her passive is also %current hp.

Okay fair enough, but I faced renekton which is a lane bully adn pretty mobile but I could 1 v 1 him easy. Also im below 50% facing diana assassin jgl & trist adc I could iill them both.

About the engage thing, yes in a team fight but having a tank jungle which are becoming MUCH more popular with malphite and shen. but I had 3k h because of her passive dealing most of the damage I didnt need many damage items, and they either focused our adc who I dealt more than or focused me and me ult whilst a shen taunting or trist knocking them out of my ult while we killed him.

Its the way you build + use her rather than the ADC oriented build, think tank akali but adc form.
