7-3 Provisional, Bronze IV?

Does anyone knows how provisional match work? I just went 7-3 provisional, and it put me in Bronze IV? 7-3 i thought was more of a silver score?

You probably played against bad kids. 10-0 to bronze kids is worse than 4-6 to plats

Yeah I can agree to this. Was Gold V (promos to IV) before the reset. Went 5/5, and scored Silver 1. Although was playing against Gold/Plat

What CCSeanCC143 means to say is that you probably lost your first few matches, that sank your opponent level down a lot, then you got on a roll and won the rest. Still, I think that you really shouldn't have ended up in Bronze IV unless you were down there in MMR to begin with.

Also Bronze IV, and my provisional back in S4 was a mess

Buddy, if you were bronze 4 last season, the best you can get from placing in a new season is the same as you were. so you got the best scenario for yourself judging by where you left off last season

After provisionals I was sorted to Bronze V... after a small number of matches, I'm in my promos for Bronze II. Climb now while there are Silvers and some Golds dropped low and you have a good chance of climbing straight out.

I went 6-4, or something like that, dropped me a full rank, from Silver 4 to Bronze 4.

Friend of mine went 0/10, got placed into Gold 2...

it's still bullshit. they shouldn't base it off of where you were at last season. new season, new scores, new everything. if you go 10-0 you should be placed quite high. like gold, or diamond. 0-10 is obviously b5. 5-5, like s3 or something.
