Too Much Creep Block!

I just got out of a game where I was Tahm Kench. I know. Tahm Kench is OP and all of that. Well I decided to try and test out Riot's less creep block system they put into this last patch. Well let me tell you. It didn't work. I would either get blocked by minions trying to last hit. (thus denying me the last hit and the gold.) or even worse, I couldn't even auto attack the champions because the creeps would surround and create a barrier around me that was too difficult to maneuver around. Either way, something needs to be done. I am sure this isn't just affecting Tahm. Top laners are at a huge (some would argue unfair) CS'ing disadvantage simply because the minions are blocking them from last hitting. Ask yourselves. Is this balanced game play? Can this be solved with a simple patching? Do you want this in your game still Riot? My opinion is that you should make is easier to CS. Especially in the top lane. Thank you for reading this post.

Just watch the patch notes tomorrow. You'll see it in the bugs section. "Whoops: Accidentally made creep block worse because of a wrong value in the code" or "Oops: Never actually turned on the changes, so sorry about that"

I agree, I have gotten trapped and have died from minion blocks or trapped by them. Minion walls and blocks are the most annoying thing to deal with in the laning phase.

We've made a few changes to minion blocking this preseason, targeted at making creep block more intuitive. When you get stuck in a minion clump you should be able to understand what's happening, and your champ's attempts to escape (or avoid) it should make sense as well. While these changes technically worked, they caused problems when interacting with other systems. We're turning them off until those interactions are fixed.

EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN All minion pathing changes made in 5.22 and 5.23 have been reverted. We’re right back to pre-preseason while we work on a better implementation.
