Thoughts on maw of malmortius for ADC?

By far, why would you even consider GA or DD over Maw?

Depends on the marksman and your team. As a marksman, you shouldn't actually ever be in a 1v1 situation against Akali.

But, shit happens.

Depends on the ADC, some are totally OK with AD and CDR, for others it is a big loss.

I find it to be situational based on the opposition and your personal play style.

With me over the course of Season 6, I played a lot of bot lane and had to think fast on Marksman. But I was also a more supportive player looking out not to die while having the damage to chip opponents for the other carries on the team to do what they need. Maw was suitable to have some damage while lasting that AP burst the enemy team had. Definitely a different metagame though from that time.

Or have a real support that'll stick with you.
