So About That Warewick Rework
When will he finally get some love?
I've been playing him again recently, and honestly when compared to many other champions, playing him doesn't feel like you're playing a werewolf champion
What he feels like is a silly dog who jogs awkwardly, likes to slap people and monsters in the jungle and Humps the legs of enemies until they die
Ever since last preseason he was nerfed pretty hard for Warrior's overwhelming power and has never quite been right. this guy needs some love.
1: Lore-wise and quotes, nothing about him [his quotes, that is] stands out. you'd expect a man cursed like this with a mission to stabilize his curse to be a bit more somber in direct regards to how unrestrained the beast is, but what he currently has is a bunch of generic quotes, that could really use an update, and please when you do, dont gut his lore.
2: His is an awkward looking champion through and through. As mentioned above he moves and attacks awkwardly. I understand why. There were limitations on what Riot could do with characters when the game started, but this game is now 6-7 years old, there have been so many advancements in the models and champions.
3: right now he's not that strong. I playt him ive built him a multitude of ways, and whenever i do play him it always feels like something is just missing from his power. Back last preseason, WW was a top pick because the then new warrior enhancement made his ult HURT. what wound up happening was Warewick got nerfed, and then Warrior got nerfed, and WW never got buffed to compensate. Since then WW has always been a sub par pick
My final request is to keep him simple: it just keeps happening where all other champions have a gajillion passives and passives that proc once you pop off those passives, WW's appeal to me was that he was SIMPLE. He wasnt hard to jungle with and was very good in teaching me how to Jungle - he is the perfect jungling champion for the first timer. I dont want this update to make him a champion only an LCS player can truly master, i think he should be a champion with a relatively low skill cap.
Anyway that's my 2 cents feel free to agree or disagree.
