Dead riot: If support was worth playing to have a shorter quo time we'd probably play support more
Riot, I am writing this not out of anger but serious pragmatism. Almost every game i wind up in we have a support who does not like to support, does not understand the role of support, and does not want to be playing support. Every few games I get forced to play support.
The issue isn't that support champs aren't spicey enough, or that people are biased against the role.. it's that the role isn't very appealing to a large majority of the player base.
If you want people to play support you need to scrap the classic formula, make some stuff that doesn't fit in at a ll, the role is a failed concept and it feels like it holds back itself and a myriad of great champions by forcing them into said role.
how to fix this? I don't know, add another lane maybe? make more support champs, and i dont mean just more people with a heal or whatnot... actually make champions who are geared for support but designed like a solo laner..
maybe you could just make the game a 4v4, basically anything that doesn't involve me having to sac some rune pages for supporting people i don't know and having to spend 20 minutes to an hour playing a role i find to be entirely unenjoyable would be superior than... well forcing me to sac some rune pages for supporting people i don't know and having to spend 20 minutes to an hour playing a role i find to be entirely unenjoyable.....
If i had to choose between the juggernaut rework patch coming back and playing support every four games, i'd choose the juggernaut rework patch.
if i had to choose between buffing yasuo (And making him unbannable) and being forced to play support every four games, i'd probably just go for the yasuo... fuck it... at least im not forced to support
