Why is Riot killing Silence?
One by one various champions are losing the power to prevent their opponents from casting a spell
why .-.

Marthian2 votesThey are killing silences that have no counterplay. Talon, Kassadin, Soraka, and Leblanc's Silence had one problem in common: They were all targeted silences and had no counterplay whatsoever.
Soraka's reworked E is weird, but you can walk out of it to end the silence.
RomanorumLegio1 votesViktor says "hello."
A mere half second silence on his non-targeted ult with smaller AoE than Blitz's? Better remove it.
Marthian1 votesAnd the rework is removing that as well.
Worgslarg1 votesBecause assassins should 100% their targets through sheer damage, not point and click cc.
