Just a frustration thread: promos between divisions suck, still

After going through a ton of promos here and there in diamond, I still don't understand why promo helper isn't a thing for all elo. Yes, the bo5 between leagues is reasonable, you gotta prove yourself you belong in a whole different level, and you don't get demoted down to gold from plat etc. easily, honestly, you won't get demoted league to league (except master to diamond 1) at all if you don't hardcore troll.

But a bo3 everytime between divisions? Man that's a tilter, I went through too many times where I go W-L-W-L or W-W-L-L, to end up 0 LP after I used up the "demotion protection", and I will need to get back to promo and win a bo3 to get back to 0LP if I lose. Promo helper is a great idea, and I really think that should be available across the leagues.

On a side note, bo3 promo is just a joke, most people don't realize that it's a bo4 essentially, you need to win the game at 80~99 LP to get in the bo3, and win 2 out of 3, that's essentially making me win 3 out of 4 before going into the next division that I've been in.

On a side note of the side note, I will suggest some tools to loosen the ranked anxiety that above gold players still have.

1. A more dynamic system for demotion - instead of "you can't be demoted for the first X games in a division, and you are on your own after", do "you have X immune to demotion when you reach 0 LP"
2. Always put people 1-game-worth-LP ish range away from 100 instead of 2 games or whatever algorithm it is. It gives people more motivation to climb right back after demotion, I mean, in the end we only lost 1 game at 0 LP
3. This is an extra. Give us a once-a-month chance to gain a small amount of LP (13) when we end up 9799 LP
4. Just enable promo helper for plat and above, christ
