I think buying Camille is a bad idea..

Here's why, she's a 'tank ekko'. so Riot is going to listen to mass complaints about camilles stickiness,

what is 'tank ekko'? ekko with tank items = dmg, slow, tankyness Camille = dmg, slow, tankyness

= Camille nerfs, so what's the point of buying Camille if Riot gona nerf her later?

she is the same class as irelia and fiora. so its ok she is balanced enough

the difference is that Ekko was designed as an assassin and got played as a tanky fighter

Camille is designed as a tanky fighter from the start and will be balanced around that.

You should not buy a champion under the assumption that she's OP and expect she will remain that way. You should buy a champion because you think they're fun or interesting to play (or you just have IP to burn).

You should also not expect nerfs to render any champion permanently unplayable. New champs (and reworks) always have a bit of a teething period where they bounce around between being underpowered and OP, but in the end they should end up roughly balanced, so short of diamond+ play, it'll come down to who is the better player rather than the specific tunings of the champions involved.

let is hit live and then let me complain about a week after she is out

She is no where near as stupid as ekko was, but i can see where you're coming from. IMO her E needs to be a knock back slow like Quinn vault and not a stun. I think it's just way too overloaded of an ability. I'm kinda iffy on the W, and would rather see more power on it. I absolutely HATE her ult, and think her whole kit and future viability is going to suffer big time with riot trying and failing to balance her around it.

Riot's strategy for selling new champs.

Create new champ with interesting, but overloaded kit.

Sell a ton when he/she/it comes out

Let that champ dominate for a full cycle longer than a champ normally would, people feel safe and buy the champ when they feel like Riot won't nerf him/her/it. Once they've sold as many as they need to, nerf the shit out of the champ and then claim that the champion is playable but has an extremely high skillcap.

See also: Elise, Irelia, Ekko... It's standard fare.

Those champions are of a higher skill cap which makes them easier to balance. Irelia, Ekko and even elise when played at a high level are good champions, however, when played by players who are not very good at the game will struggle to make use of all the champions mechanics in the correct way.

It's almost like you can't read.

When they came out, they didn't need a high skill cap. Because they were absurdly overloaded. Then they got nerfed into the ground and you have to be a fantastic player to use them well, because their kit is very finely tuned.

AP Ekko was a fairly high skill cap champion living on the razor's edge and having to worry deeply about his own positioning and engages, I agree.

Tank Ekko was a baby easy stat stick who forced himself down your carry's throat with his incredible sticking potential and sustained damage while building full tank, and didn't have to worry as much about engages because between his tank stats, his mobility, CC, and ultimate he was very forgiving IMO.

Elise is fairly high skill cap, but I don't really think Irelia is tbh. Her skill cap is fairly average.

Because her playstyle is fun? Who cares about numbers; if you enjoy someone, play them regardless if they get nerfed or not
