The Only Thing That Bothers Me About The Honor System.

I don't mind getting rid of the old honor completely, starting at honor 2, having no "honor exp bar", or even how long it takes to get from Level 2 Honor to Level 3 Honor (haven't seen anyone with Level 3 Honor yet). What bugs me about the new Honor System is that you're locked out of season rewards until Honor Level 3, which nobody has any idea how long it takes to reach. If Honor Level 2 is the default for all players, and still considered honorable, why lock those players out of seasonal rewards? It only creates people who will grind and grind and grind honor to try and get the season rewards they already earned by playing ranked and not being penalized/reported, which is the exact opposite of what Riot wants with the new system. It just doesn't make a lot of sense.

TL;DR Honor Level 2 locks players out of season rewards even though they're still considered honorable.

I'm assuming that Honor Level 3 is something that is not super simple to get, but also is attainable in the coming few months. Riot is usually pretty good about Season rewards being fairly easy to obtain, disregarding some of the super high tier things like Challenger jackets, obviously. If you're a friendly enough player, they are usually pretty good about rewarding those players. Plus, I'd almost rather the Honor-related rewards be a little harder to obtain, to hopefully give incentive to players to avoid flaming or feeding and just generally be a better teammate. Not much harder, but just a tiny bit of extra effort goes a long way.

Me personally, I miss being able to honor opponents. On those occasions where I'm in a 5 man, of course I'm going to honor my teammates, but often the other team is pretty friendly since it's just another group of friends, and we can't honor them anymore. Wanted to honor someone the other night, and they even mentioned giving one of my teammates honor, too. But alas...
