So when are we going to make all RANDOM actually RANDOM?

I the last 5 games of ARAM I have played Lux has been in 4 of them, Darius has been in 3 of them, Ryze and Malz in 2 of them.

this is not a rare occurrence either, I play primarily aram and I notice all the time for sometimes weeks straight I will only ever see the same champions over and over. Hell, there have been times where I have rerolled game after game after game and each reroll was the SAME champion over and over.

Something is not right with this mode, I really think Riot needs t take a serious look at it and figure out why ARAM prioritizes rolling certain champs over others because the issue is getting bad now.

It's all the "ARAM Accounts." Their drive to win, even in a Mode that 90% of the playerbase doesn't think "counts," is bigger than their ability to have fun.

I tried arguing two years ago for unlocking all champions for ARAM.

From what I understand, don't many ARAM players make accounts specifically to play that mode? The only way to fix that problem would be to make all the champions available to play, but I doubt Riot will ever do that.

I have rerolled game after game after game and each reroll was the SAME champion over and over.

You know what "random" means, don't you? What you're asking for isn't it. What you want is "dynamic randomness", "pseudo-random" or "controlled randomness"; whichever term you like the most.

It's very hard for us, humans, to perceive what "random" truly means. We find patterns where they don't exist. Receiving the same champion multiple times is random and seeing the same champions multiple times is also random. ######Let's ignore the fact that there's no such thing as "true random" with computers.

Here's something to blow your mind: ARAM by Play Rate Notice the "play rate" numbers. The first 48 champions have a range of 8.5% to 13.5% pick rate. That's a 5% differential over 33.8% of the champions pool. The last 52 champions have a range of 1% to 6% pick rate; 5% differential over 36.6% of the champion pool.

That looks pretty random to me. Basically, what I'm saying is we have an almost flat bell curve. The percentage of champions above 8.5% is (almost) the same as the champions below 6%. To get a sense for the thing, take a look at Summoner's Rift numbers.

Roll a dice 6 times, tell us if you get 1,2,3,4,5,6.

The fact that the same champions pop up means it IS random. Also people can reroll, so they're picking 5 out of a potential 15.

Guys... have you considered that people are just picking the best champs more often? There's a pool of champs to choose from when people inevitably reroll, and most people would go for a champ like lux rather than udyr. Come on people, it's not that hard to put together.

Ryze and Darius doesn't sound like a ARAM only account

hopefully never. Why should i have to be forced to play champs i don't want? There's a reason i didn't buy them.

I know there's aram only accounts, how is that my problem?

and if your conspiracy theory (it's really not more than that) is correct, making all of em won't change a damn thing if riot themselves prioritize certain champs.

Here's a thing tho: Rerolling became alot better. I've played the same champ back to back plenty of times where i actually didn't roll the champ, someone else did. But they didn't want em and i did.

All random was never all random, sparring back from the days where players would hit the random button From the Champions they own and then all chill in Mid lane.

They could easily fix this by making every champ free in ARAM all of the time. This would shut down the ARAM-ONLY accounts from abusing it this way.

You'd still see those champions just as often if they unlocked all champions, people will always reroll champions like Udyr and keep champions like Lux. The only way to make it "actually random" would be to remove all rerolls as well as unlocking all champions, but then you don't get to complain about playing Trundle against a team full of poke.
