When people in your team don't/won't listen :\

Hello, Could anyone tell me what to do in this situation? I just had a game which I lost and it was so frustrating because I knew we had it in our hands but no one would listen. Aside the regular "people wont peel for the adc" we were just having grouping issues (or so it seemed) and people wouldn't communicate. Well they barely did. I went as far as to ask: Ok so we're not grouping mid and ending, I see people went to split. Pleases explain to me your reasoning behind this because I cannot understand and the crickets chirped

I even said, Please someone communicate, I don't know how else to ask. And more crickets chirped

It was so very frustrating because their team hit that one ace and happened to group up and they just won like nothing.

I really hate to say it but they were really bad. They had a nasus with a ton of stacks and were still doing bad.

But my team wouldn't communicate either :\

It's hard not to get toxic towards people when that happens man. Right now im taking a break from playing because I am still upset as heck. I don't want to fall back to silver 5 q.q (on 3 with 0 LP)...

please help?

It's simple. People are idiots, moreso in league. When you expect anything other than feeding and raging from your team, you will likely be dissapointed.

There are several thing to do:

  1. try to play
  2. try to talk to them
  3. flame
  4. rage quit
  5. sit in the corner and cry
  6. play another game

you can even do it in this order. And then repeat again.

long sotry short: you can do nothing, unless you trun on your godly powers and carry it on your own. Also try to be always positive.

Ugh, wrote up a long reply to this, then accidentally went back a page in my browser. tl;dr, because I'm lazy:

  1. Good for you, for taking a break and not going on tilt :)

  2. Games like this happen, and they're one of the most frustrating things.

  3. Since they're so frustrating, it's really hard not to feel toxic, I agree, but I don't think it's hard not to be toxic. Just rage out loud instead of in chat.

  4. Some of these games just aren't winnable. But you can still try. Here's what I'd do:

  • Ping more, talk less. Chat just distracts me from the game, and pings are harder to ignore.
  • Ward more. Even (and especially) if you're not the support, make sure you have 3 wards and a pink out at all times (and get a sweeper, if you didn't get a pink trinket). Try to set up catches for your team. Even if only 1 or two of them can follow up you might be able to get something out of it.
    • Also, it will prevent you from getting caught.
  • Think of it as a practice game, and try not to die, ever. This should make it less frustrating (at least you're getting something out of the game) and will help your chances of winning (maybe the enemy will do a bad dive on you, and you can turn things around).
  1. Yes, this was a tl;dr. I'm verbose.
