Yasuo Build | A toplane, duelist, split-pushing, self-peeling, shredding machine monstrosity
Yasuo is a great champion if you can mechanically master him. I still can't as I miss my Qs. That skill requires a lot of pointing with your mouse accuracy, but anyways...
Here's a suggestive build. I used it to split-push at top-lane and it worked wonders. I'll give reasons as to why I use this build, summoner spells, masteries, and skill order. I don't really recommend this if you're going mid.
Skill Order: Max your R whenever you can(as usual) and max E first. Then Q, then W. Typical Yasuo skills.
Masteries:
12-0-18
Ferocity: Fury->Expose Weakness->Vampirism->Battle Trance Resolve: Recovery->Tough Skin->Runic Armor->Perseverance->Legendary Guardian->Grasp of the Undying
I use these masteries for teamfights as (because I'm Yasuo), I'm going to be targeted first and I'm a front-line fighter. This way, I can tank more and my early game is better due to Grasp of the Undying. In teamfights, my masteries make me tankier and this gives me outplay potential. Increased survivability allows my great mid/late game with Yasuo an easy ride as long as I farm and survive.
Summoner Spells:
Flash
-> You know why.
Exhaust
-> This allows for a lot of outplay potential when the jungler comes. I can weaken one opponent while focusing on the other. I windwall to block minion damage early game. With the damage reduction, the slow, attack speed reduction, armor+magic resist reduction, I also get time to ult both enemies or leave one to stop damaging me or at least mitigate it. I can also exhaust them if they dive me under tower, then I can stack flow for even more survivability because of my shield. Just a lot of combinations and just a variety of outplays.
Build:
Phantom Dancer
-> I'm a toplaner so I want to be a bit tanky 1v1. This is my early-game first-to-go-to item. It mitigates the enemies damage and allows me to shred towers. Most of Yasuo's damage comes from autoattacks. +45% armor pen from my ultimate and 110 AD is enough for me shred the toplaner too. I also get enhanced movement speed so I can outplay and stack flow faster. I also reduce my opponent's damage+exhaust+my flow - it's amazing.
Trinity Force
-> This is to shred turrets even faster. This meta, turrets are squishy so just a bit of attack speed and I'm shredding them in 7-10 seconds with only PD and TF. I can also use its passive to shred turrets faster and the movement speed leads to outplays as you already know. I'll be faster than most champions at this point, I can escape, and I'm not so squishy. I'll be very mobile without enemy minions with this too. It also gives a bit of everything I need.
Ravenous Hydra
-> This makes me push lanes in 10 seconds. I can E to get to minions and my attack speed at this point will be enough to clear waves in 2 seconds at most. The passive allows me to be of better use in CQC teamfights in the jungle and when I go in, activate the active, ult them, it's just a nukefest on squishies and allows my team to hop on without worrying about saving me.
The Black Cleaver
-> I shred in one-on-ones or long matches, dealing true damage if they have no armor. Not necessary due to Yasuo's ult though.
or Bloodthirster
-> Hydra scales with LS, I like the shield, I'm less squishy, I can stay in lane, you get it.
Mortal reminder
-> No mercy, no heals, no survivability, just die. 90% armor pen with my ultimate is great.
Mercurial Scimitar
-> Denied, I will survive! I get this usually and skip IE because really, I want to split-push. I get IE instead of Bloodthirster/Black Cleaver too sometimes since I won't need those as much. I even replace it over Mortal Reminder since Mercurial is important to stop from being CC'ed.
Thoughts? Is this a good build?
