every champion that uses rageblade has 52%+ winrate

hmm. whats the connection here? rageblade maybe. is the item getting removed from the game or anything . statistically. the item gives the most on hit total damage of any item in the game. it also. gives the most attack speed. of any item in the game. and it also gives aoe waveclear. it also gives a pretty high amount of both ad and ap fully stacked. am not sure why the item hasn't been touched yet.

jax xin yi sitting at 52+ winrate and kog maw sitting at 56% winrate and kayle well about as much as koggles.

the item is too healthy it makes a very bad play pattern to the game. you basically right click once and your good.

hell even builds that aatrox uses rageblade in has almost 53% winrate small sample size but i get my point.

revert trinity force changes. and either delete the item rageblade. or stop the attack speed stacking completely. even with just ad and ap stacking and aoe waveclear. its still too powerful. but I'd be satisfied if you just remove the attack speed stacking. it gets too unhealthy when an item that is meant for attack speed based champions that already gets a lot of attack speed also gives them. more attack speed. and more damage. and more on hit damage because thats what as champions want. its literally. the best item in the game. by far

I understand there isn't much in the game in terms of itemization for on hit based as champs. its just really rageblade and wits end which is fucking garbage except for warwick. also botrk which was nerfed and honestly isn't worth getting anymore on most champions except against few team comps. everything aa is based for crit and ad. for ad carrys. ranged ones.

The thing that made Guinsoo a must build and consequentially, made those champions be a little troublesome is the Guinsoo's Rage passive, which is basically a Tiamat AOE.

Thing is, besides Kayle and maybe Kog'Maw, all the champions you mentioned are primarily Physical Damage and melee. What are people going to buy to mitigate that? Exactly. Armor. And completely forget about the magical damage being done by the item itself.

Also it´s worth mentioning that besides Jax, every champion mentioned takes Fervor of Battle.

But i don´t think the real problem is in fact the champions or even Rageblade, but how it´s stacked. Melee get two stacks while ranged get one stack.

Reducing Guinsoo's passive stacks to 5 or 6, making so that both melee and ranged stack only once per AA and reduce the scalling on the Rsage passive would balance it out.

Right now the item is:

30 AD+24 fully stacked to a total of 54 AD 40 AP+32 fully stacked to a total of 72 AP 64% AS fully stacked. 20+15% Bonus AD+7.5% AP on Rage passive

With that proposed reduction we would get:

30 AD(+15 if 5 stacks, +18 if 6 stacks) so either 45 AD or 48 AD 40 AP(+20 if 5 stacks, +24 if 6 stacks) to either 60 AP or 64 AP 40% AS if 5 stacks, 48% if 6 stacks. 15+(7.5% Bonus AD)+(5% AP) on Rage passive.

On an addendum, the fact that the on-hit scales with both AD and AP and stacks along with the item's normal passive is just disgusting.

This coming from a Kayle main.

but both ranged champs that use it have the higher winrates. the attack speed portion of the item needs to go away. also you should always go frevor on jax. there is 0 reason not to. in 3-4 autos you simply already did more damage than the tld. and in extended fights tld is useless and that what jax does best.

The AS portion of it has always been there. The issue is that on Devourer junglers, the on-hit becomes twice as powerful.

Honestly, Guinsoo's should have been left in the state it was. Just a niche item, made for specific champions to buy. Back then only Kayle and Jax built it. Just like she, along with Azir and Diana are the only ones building Nashor's Tooth.

It´s an item that covered every stat they want to have.

On junglers, Devourer's phantom hit is the problem. Either make it melee and ranged have the standard 4th AA proc or just scrap the phantom hit altogether and have the item's stats increase by a minor amount when Sated.

On Kayle and Kog, it´s the Rage passive.

All they need is Guinsoo's and Runaan's Hurricane to start going Speedy Gonzalez of Death on people.

Although to be fair, if Riot ever changes anything, it´ll be the champions, not the item.

I´m surprised they haven´t messed around with Kayle thus far. Probably because her case is far from being the same as pre-nerf Devourer.

Guinsoo's needs just a straight nerf to its stats, not a rework. I would suggest actually increasing the AP a bit but removing all AD from it. This would make it slightly better for Kayle/AP Kog, but useless for Yi/Tryn, and it would add Diana (and Ekko?) to the list of strong users (and maybe make Devourer Diana a thing?) It would also mean that Jax and Xin get slightly less mileage out of it, but it's still a strong item on them.

Weird because on champion.gg I see Jax top at 48.4% winrate, he's at 52%+ winrate in Jungle. Warwick top, 49% winrate Both have rageblade among their most use it in their most frequent core build.

jax top was made useless because trinity force was changed. sure. rageblade is op on him. but rageblade isn't a centerpiece item.

should we remove boots from the game? every champion in the game buys it at some point in the game and you are being a troll if you don't
