every time I try going top against a champ that's easy kite fodder like and , people dodge EVERY time, I'm tired of this, why do people think only conventional champs should be used?

With you going Ahri tank, you team could have lost tons of tankiness
odds are you wouldn't take TP,
Ahri cant stop a darius after level 10.
Could be too much AP on the team
And it just seems inconsiderate to the team
you want to kite them so bad roam top from mid or just play gnar.

I don't build Ahri tank, I'm not a youtube LoL drone
I was gonna take TP
I beat down Darius ALL the time as Ahri
2 champs with AP is too much? (mid included if it's not Zed or Talon)
How is it "inconsiderate"?
I don't have Gnar, plus he's strongly out of meta right now.

I got to Diamond V with half of my games being Ahri top. Don't listen to them.

the only top laners I play are Nasus Mordekaiser Renekton and Fiora but the problem is is that when I go top, I'm typically the first to pick in the match, so I end up being counterpicked.

At least Nasus can be a meat wall for his team when he's behind. Better yet, he can sit top lane all game and be a constant threat to turrets/inhibs because of his pushing power.

If you fall behind as top Ahri, you're going to be doing jack shit for your team.

Yeah I'd just like to point out that Nasus can't even be a meat shield since EVERY AD top laner I go against buys item 3071 + item 3033

Sadly, just as in life, league is full of simplistic robotic thinkers who tremble at the very thought of trying something new or different, unless it comes down as an official narrative from Riot, every other champ and/or build is trash.

At least they're dodging, I had a 3rd pick support that wanted to play Shaco and even said "I'm not trolling guys" so bot arbitrarily decided the support was trolling and said "if you're going to troll I'm going to troll" and went Xerath . A few games prior I'm Leona top, and the support decided that I wasn't top and that they we're going to play Akali, take my cs, lie in [all] chat, feed the enemy top laner early on, etc. I'd glady take someone dodging over these morons that throw the game and then say things like "this is why I can't win my promos, open mid btw"
