I want to summon @CertanlyT
What are your toughts on the release of Mordekaiser kit reowrk? What did you like and what did you like not?
Not asking about the future, i know you are still iterating.

Morde is way more binary, toxic, 1 dimensional, inflexible and whatnot than ever before.
That's how successful the rework is.
Let's not even mention, this glorious trainwreck comes from the person who specialises in making his champs broken, overloaded and unbalanceably OP.
How can you rework a character by literally just deleting everything in the said champ, given your reputation? How do you do that?
Urgh.
Without any rage or whatever I'd like to hear his opinion too. As a personal point of view it was fun playing Morde bot but after the 4th game I realized that all I had to do was placing my 3rd Q on something squishy without any more dept.
well, better depth in that than on the old e or old q frankly.
Not really, now all his kit relies on his 3rd Q do do anything. Before you could lure ppl while at low hp and unleash your combo to have your shield cover you and during the lane you had to manage CDs in order not to get poked down.
Now you have to wait that they engage you in melee.
It' s less flashy, alright, but this whole "walk with 3rd hit only" thing is highly overrated as a fault to point, since it can add a lot of mindgames, tactics to deploy for its usage and a more characteristic damage.
For example you can focus a tank but unleash the 2nd or 3rd hit to an assassin, or make your way to the backline hitting left and right for furor speed and stacking hits. I agree is not perfect on that point, maybe it needs to be less reliant on others, but i don' t think the Q is at fault for that as concept.

If we're still talking about the state of LoL in 2010 then you would perhaps have a point, but do you see how overloaded champs have to be these days?
Given LoL's current balance scene in 2015, Morde is only blatantly OP in bot lane and utterly garbage everywhere else.
There is no strategy involved in his kit, because it all comes down to abusing his innate OP EXP boosts and pet dragon, that's the only thing he does atm. Let's not even think about how the current Morde makes absolute no sense to his lore and personality/backstory.
Morde rework is a complete fail, highlighted as most likely, the worst rework Riot has ever made. And worse it comes from a pet designer in the name of CertainlyT who everyone outside of the newly started gamers, spectators and Riot employees would hate with every fiber inside their body.
I am not saying the W is fine.
There isn't any mind game involved and it's more flashy because you see ppl go down in one hit. It all ends with "count to 3" either for you and your enemies. You add nothing more to your team than what you had before it's just that rather having use a full combo you need one single strike.
So you are saying is more flashy dealing 3 attacks, the latter dealing a lot of damage, rather emptying the skillbar all at once in less than a second, with W for good measure? Not being cocky here, just asking because to me a methodical 3 attack skill is not only less flashy, but also more telegraphed and does not need to occupy 2 skill slots in order to be effective, in a game where you have only 4 skills, leaving more room to decisions on the other skills.
Probably uber-high single target damage is not the right answer, but i find having it deal 3 attacks is a good decision by itself and beyond damage you can' t add much - morde needs some, and he does not want ccs or engage stuff ( and here there is to debate over W, on which i am not totally satisfacted).
Probably it would be better if it dealt more damage from earlier strikes but the 3rd rather increasing deals the 2nd strike as aoe? Aniway, the old Q other than tricking with offence-defence tactics and few cases where you could bounce damage in lane, that were cool, did not add much since it was just an aoe over an aoe.
In a way yes because you see him doing really low damage then BOOM all at once or even just BOOM if he saves it good and you didn't care/manage to get away. I had a Zed today who would ulti me always so I just needed to wait a sec and melt him. That was flashy indeed xD
The thing is that you see your 3 AAs, others don't and just can't see when the burst is coming unless really focused. It's not like Vayne's and Gnar's 3rd AA.
so are you saying is more a clarity problem than else? I can' t give you any wrong, is really hard to understand at which stage is the Q.
About the damage... high or low let' s be real, it is you that have to know that, like any other champion :P About this, it would be useful to have tips in the client. I remember there were some in the old UI but they sucked pretty much most of times or were updated xD
The only useful tip i ever read was about Azir being able to be a bird. Nuff said.
I also believe it's too high damage concetrated in a single skill, but that has to stay if you want Morde to be viable. Clarity apart it's not like Xerath W bullseye, Varus full charged Arrow or anything else has that burst it probably feels less devstating than the AoE he had before where minion waves were melted aswell but it still wins you teamfights easily.
Probably if it was less tied to burst down a target, like being aoe as i said? It would make him viable even more botlane probably and has added counterplay to damage dispersion... while being a wrecker in teamfights and pushing lanes ( even tought the latter is a power that i am fine they removed from him, it makes no sense for him to be able to push lanes and be so weack to ganks, now more than ever).
I know the feeling and the dragon made it worse. our team had just won a team fight at the enemy's tower in mid and broken the tower...suddenly they say "let's grab dragon for morde" (not sure if it was a bot match but it probably was) while i'm sitting there smacking the second turret. if they had come to the second turret, we would have taken 2 turrets at once instead of the enemy bots reviving in time to push us back from an only so scratched tower
Most of the forum hates him, because he is hailed by the champion creators as a mastermind while in reality he just gives too much to every kit that he makes. Like Thresh, "Oh my god, just perfect! Absolutely amazing, good job TerribleT!" "Oh thanks I uh, really tried on this one. Like honestly, I thought of everything that I could give this one champion, and gave it to him. Besides sustain."
Thresh literally has everything besides sustain. He literally refuses to enter the boards because he would be negatively removed from the boards by downvotes. His design philosophy is as good as this champ I just made up.
Terrible Tom
Passive: 3 stacks of something Q - Displacement, if 3 stacks is applied a knockup will occur w - A shield that if you grab it, restores HP with a .5 AP ratio and the shield and heal restoring 15% maximum hp. E - Displacement, applies a slow and if 3 stacks is applied causes a burning effect however gets rid of the stacks R - Applies an unbreakable barrier around himself and the person he "Takes" and travels a small-medium- global distance. So basically this champ has everything besides realistic damage outside of lane. Oh and I am changing the burning into true damage.

Not Overloaded enough
Passive - Safety Box. A recharging Windwall that creates a box when --Champion-- is in danger of being hit with a skillshot with extra armor pen while it's down.
Q - Super Slam! A targeted knockup that heals for a percentage of the damage dealt. Its cooldown is lowered depending on how many champions are hit and grants movement speed to --Champion-- while running toward them while they are airborne.
W - Righteous Light. A light orb that can be dropped to give vision, passively providing 5/10/15/20/25 magic resistance and grants an attack speed bonus for champions within it's range, lowering the armor and mr of enemy champions. Retrieving the orb, --Champion-- gains bonus health regen.
E - Miracle Dodge. A resourceless dash with no cooldown going in the direction of your cursor. --Champion-- will monitor your progress and deem successful dodges worthy or not of 'LCS BIG PLAYS!' Gaining the stacking buff 'LCS BIG PLAYS' grants --Champion-- increased gold generation from minions and champion kills.
R - Alter of the T - --Champion-- sacrifices his/her teammates for the glory of CertainlyT, granting him/her increased base stats, and twice the power of his/her abilities for the remainder of the game since --Champion-- deserves the entire limelight when he/she is picked.
LOL your in all the threads i look at..
TREE CLAN HYPE
Good f*cking luck bringing CT here. If you succeed, I'll eat my keyboard.
Leaving this in case of miracle.
I just wanna summon him so I can chuckle to myself as he tries to make sense of what he's done to Morde.
Oh good. He comments stating his opinion then gets flooded with downvotes and complaints.
I can't imagine why he wouldn't comment.
I really hope he will tho.
Well, when everyone basically agrees new mord is a mess, and he has a reputation of making un fun champ (to play against) see yas/kalist/thresh.
I mean, the guy digged his own hole, and he keeps going deeper in it.
No wonder why people hate him and want him fired.
Actually a lot of people like the new Mordekaiser, you don't see them because they get piled in downvotes.
Same on Reddit only people aren't getting downvoted for it.
What's to like about the guy. Most post I read from Mord mains dont like it. Playing against him is a pain in the ass (Surprise, a CertanityT champ is unfun to play against) and people that use him hate how inconsistent his dmg is, all his dmg is on Q and if you cant get that 3rd Q he does no dmg.
What's to like about new mord besides drag pet?
I don't know or care.
Well good for fucking you. Then leave G & B if you dont know or care about this game G & B
CertainlyT is not impressed. Morde only has 3 passives....
[deleted]
SInce it was made by CertainlyT, then yes, they will never admit being wrong with the guy. See Kalista.
CertainlyT we summon thee
Real talk, I like the dragon slave. That's probably the only thing I like about the rework.
It's really cool, I think that should have being the focus on this rework, instead of being an oppresive mofo that either tears you a new asshole in lane, or just do nothing and basically wins you the game by how useless he becomes.
Ok CertanlyT, you still have not answered so i am forced to put out the ultimate weapon...
** give me an high five **
i know you can' t leave me hang' in
I don't think getting a high five from him would be pleasant, as it would be covered in semen due to him jerking off to his own champions.
Feels like a trap.
