Looking at the BorK nerf

And I'm just thinking, who realistically builds it other than ADCs? , , and ? Maybe (though I'm convinced he can build literally any item in the game and still do well.) I just think it's a good item for ADCs and nerfing it that hard for ranged champs (Halving the on hit effect from 8% to 4%) will make it pretty much unviable on any ADC, who really should be building it since it helps deal with tanks like their supposed to, except maybe

The nerfs happened to BotRK because all the ADCs were buying it. BotRK was designed to be a niche item that works best with duelists. You know it's probably broken though when several ADCs were not only building it, but rushing it as a first item. This change makes it so that the ADCs that it SHOULD synergize best with it won't be affected too much by the changes while keeping it at the same power level for melee duelists who build the item.

Its core item on aatrox, yi , jax and maybe tryndamere. Renekton sometimes use it too and kled

Renekton loves it in certain comps because W applies the on-hit twice, three times if empowered.

Aatrox has it as core.

Irelia Jax used to build it as core.

Shyvana Udyr likes it sometimes.

I think just reverting the changes would have been okay but RIto has this thing where they don't admit mistakes. As a marksmen I didn't build old botrk all the time, I only built it if the enemy had a ton of HP otherwise I would get bloodthirster for more defenses. Botrk was niche and it felt cool to make decision stuff.

I'm glad they're nerfing botrk but I feel this is kinda lame. Of course it's PBE so not crying too hard.

Edit: Yes people I understand the item is broken cancer but this nerf is seems pretty huge. Botrk wasn't first pick OP before the changes so why not just revert the changes?
