Why does Lyte deny the system matches chat-restricted players with other chat restricted players?

Topic... dip your foot into solo queue at any elo and you can see. I've even had duos tell me their friend is chat-restricted and they're communicating by whispers as to why they only blow out 1 "omg this team fuckin sucks" every 4 minutes.

This happens all the time... literally.

I know in order for your system to work people shouldn't know the algorithm you've used, but why blatantly lie when asked about it?

See? I can ask nonsense questions and make claims with no factual evidence too. Anecdote is not evidence.

And unless we can parse the chat logs anecdotal evidence is all we have... It's not like this is a new concept people talk about it all the time, are they all crazy?

Well, um, it doesn't do that, so... I guess that would be why they deny it? I'm not sure what you want them to do or say. They can't "prove" it's not happening any more than they can "prove" they don't power their servers with enslaved unicorns on giant hamster wheels.

It's very difficult to know how many chat-restricted players you're actually seeing in your matches -- and ones on the enemy team can't use /all chat, so it's even harder to judge there.
