I was so excited for this patch because of those 2 items. Guess top lane can keep staying a meme.

At least support got nerfed.

Atma's was just a broken item. Sorry but it's true. A champion with 4k HP (so almost anyone in top lane) would get 100 AD from that passive. Even with low stats everywhere else, it really FELT abuse-able. Spear went from being completely broken to trash tier the second they put a cap on the damage reduction. They tried playing around with the cap and it just wasn't feeling balanced, with it being either to high or too low or if scaling by level then too snowbally. It was just a bit of a mess. In both cases they were struggling to find a way to balance them and I'm glad they decided to put them to one side for a minute and work on fixing what is currently a pretty jumbled game.

True, but when you're playing someone like Yorick or Illaoi or Daruis or well any standard "tanky" top laner 5 seconds in combat happens pretty much all the time lol.

Items being abused repeatedly Bruiser update canceled AGAIN Sterak's still nerfed, despite only Irelia being broken Aatrox being removed from the game

Literally no other class has to go through this shit.
