Because I don't play him, so I don't know. But from what I do know of him, shouldn't 
be like... one of his strongest items? He scales extremely well with both AD and AP, he also does mixed damage so it is better than lifesteal alone, and the active would seem great on him. Am I missing something?

Hextech Gunblade Ezreal is very real and live right now.
It's just geared towards enemy comps that have squishies.
Woook3r1 votesGood idea. Idk. The only thing I would have to add is that item is an early game item. Seems like ezreal doesnt particularly want to rush it. But its probably viable. Would make his ulti hit very hard and give him sustain. I think tear and sheen or maybe even essence reaver have better benefits.

But it's more ideal in situations where the enemy team has squishy champions.
look up xfsn saber, he uses it.
Also just because he has double scaling, doesn't mean hybird items are great on him.
A majority of his damage still scale off AD.
His Q is 1.1 AD scaling and 0.4 AP scaling. and that's his primary damage spell, and as a ad spell caster, quite important.
