Can we talk about this?
Fiora. (Lord I hate this champion.) Fiora has had a pretty good pickrate toplane for a while, despite the numerous nerfs she received after her update.
Currently she boasts the highest pick rate toplane (15% compared to the average 1.47%), and a win rate greater than 51% according to op.gg and league of graphs.
She is a very frustrating champion to fight, especially because of how she just ignores your resistance item, dashes everywhere, and heals a bunch.
I really despise this champion, and think she is a cancerous growth who should be killed through extensive chemotherapy, but still regretfully understand that she has a reason to exist.
I don't understand however why a champion who should require significant skill to play, being the grand duellist, boasts the highest play rate and a super-50% winrate. Generally this means a champion is overpowered.
If I were to give nerfs to her, it would likely hit her early innate sustain. Why is it that a champion, who's first completed item being a lifesteal item (which was buffed recently), needs any innate sustain, especially earlygame when she should be weakest generally speaking. I wouldn't remove it, even though I want to, but reduce its early effectiveness by 33% to allow bad trades to stick better. So her early heal would be reduced to 20 from 30, scaling back up to its current amount at about level 5 and reduce base health regeneration and scaling from 8.25 and 0.55 to 6.25 and 0.45 respectively.
Another thing about Le grand dueliste, her q cooldown reduction for hitting a champion. Firstly, I hate this ability and how she can combo it with her w, but that's subjective. 60% reduced cool down early is way too much, giving it a 9.6 sec cd at rank 1. Since this ability procs her passive too, this 9.6 seconds is a lot worse than it sounds. I would reduce the buff to 30% on hitting a champion, doubled if a vital is hit. Realistically, if she didn't hit the vital she shouldn't be given such freedom to just dash out after, especially not when she can just e you and hit the vital anyway.
I'm not a fiora expert, and nor do I want to be but I know this champion is not fun to play against, and is likely too good so these are the changes I would make to ease the experience against her. I could be quite wrong with some of these, and would like feedback about what should be done to make her better to play against.
