Zyra, the fall of the thorns

with the current meta... Zyra falls short.

she is slow the meta is heavy tank now which can take her burst and late game most people build the resistance to her snares so the concept of escaping is from these champions is falling apart. Yeah.. i can get some use out of her passive now but seriously it needs to be fixed.

she doesnt scale at all. i thought item 3285 may have been a cure for her slowness but because she is centered around the plants it actually doesnt work as well as i hoped. seemed it actually helped other casters alot better than it did for zyra..

please let her plants scale with her level for their attack speed.. their AI is failed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwJt-d3U4b0 Her passive could use a fix. Idea - add "True Snare" to her passive... where her snares are not reduced by tenacity or other effects.
If she is so centered around not getting caught and has no escapes can something get done where she can not just get walked up on by beefy.. i mean so beefy that planet fitness would sound the Lunk alarm. .. tanks that should be punished for over extending.

can we give her love.. she doesnt really belong in the support role.. and she doesnt belong in mid role anymore..

and it seems that alot of people hate her... i mean seriously there is a hate for her and i dont understand why.
not even that cute hate that people have for teemo, but like a deep rooted hate for her because yes she can do well in ARAM but thats because there isnt smite in it.

yes a person can pull off wins with her.. it can happen.. but in involves alot of waiting.

she has no ability to chase someone down. (slow and most of her abilities involve the enemy walking in on her.)

the only thing she actually does well is clear waves, but other champs do that so much better. she peeks at the end of the mid phase but at full build verses full build late late game she has basically fallen off at that point.

if her plants are such a key thing to bush check for vision give just a bit more range. you know where she doesnt walk within ability range of other champions then gets lit up.

her W.. the plants die fast.. seriously fast... could maybe i get an additional plant or 2?

she has no home in this meta and i would love for her to have a home.

she was not suppose to be a support.. she should be balanced for mid lane like her design.

Neither was Blitzcrank. Neither was Morgana. Neither was Annie. Champions don't always end up getting balanced around the way they were initially designed.

Her plant AI changed when they gave her range indicators. Her plants are much less reliable.

I always thought zyra is vary strong. Almost everyone that complains about her don't use the full potential of her kit.

linking a win loss ratio of how well you do shouldnt be a reason to allow a champion to fall behind. Riot pointed out when they nerfed lee sin that a win loss record is not a true gauge on the state of a champion.

these hidden nerfs are slowing taking her away from where she needs to be.

and i am linking the record of the account i am currently using.

where did you get that image.. because what i see on your record is a 46% win rate with her. not to call you out man.. but did you get beat by a zyra main and look them up to back up your point? and hidden power in other champions.. lets use elise as one of the champions who had hidden power.. when she was released you could rappel beyond her rappel range... riot knew of this and they did it on purpose to make it easier for people to use her and get use to her... they removed this additional range saying players didnt need it anymore.

this additional range exists in afew champions still and they should have their hidden power removed.
Xerath for example hits slightly beyond his hit box for his Q. it has been that way at the rework and it is still that way. cassiopia had her early game increased after her rework.. rather than riot allowing the community to get use to her they claimed she had a poppy complex and boosted her early game.

and just because a person can use a champion doesnt mean that there is a health problem because champions should not be balanced for the individual. i just want fairness for her.

Nope i have 7 accounts ranging from bronze to plat 4.

The one i linked you is my plat account.

I don't link it because i get to many invites from forums. I am not here to make friends and this account i have every champion so i practice and try new things before i purchase on other accounts.

I wouldn't follow riot words. they say anything to the community to try and get ground. Talk about hidden potential and healthy kits with none healthy environments, blah blah blah

I am going by experience. Most zyra players just spam ability's trying to do damage with there Q and E. That isn't her primary damage and people tend to fight away from her seeds and dont realize if you auto attack the seeds will stay on target.

Also a few wins and a high win rate isn't much. Playing a lot of games with high win rate is where its at.

You can call me out all you want. People do it all the time, because they try and find reason not to listen

Looking at your past post i see you are vary enthusiastic about zyra. I love zyra to but we have 2 different idea's on what she should be.

I play her 3 different ways and I would tell you a build that has a high success rate for zyra and maybe you will understand, but i like to keep her in the dark from everyone else.

item 3151 and item 3285 has nothing to do with her.

also let me throw another example of balancing to the player verse balance .. here is someones record with nid. at this time nid has an overall win rate of 46% is it so low because she has a 14% popularity

is she just a higher skill cap?

zyra is only 2% popular.

Zyra is a top tier support right now. She has incredible synergy with Liandry's to shred those tanks, a strong lane phase, excellent teamfight, and acceptable peel.
