If he backed off into the fog of war when I'm at tower, then jungler comes up, it's impossible for me to follow up unless I have a huge gap closer.
Fair enough. I have no arguments for this if you were indeed a champ without the necessary gap closer. If your jungler goes in, in this particular situation, then yes, it's on them and any comments from them concerning the outcome of said engage are invalid.
I ping several times for missing, I then ping on the lane that I think they are going to make sure they know, and then I ping at their last known location. Pinging right on top of somebody is hard to ignore.
Given that I often go against champs like Zed and Leblanc who want early kills but never get them from killing me, I understand your pain on this one completely. It's a damn shame when you ping so much that you're warned about "no more pings" and your teammates STILL die and then complain that you either "didn't ping" (even though you clearly did) or "didn't follow your lane opponent".
The problem with that 2nd scenario, especially, is that if I'm someone, like say Morgana (my go-to against Zeds), I'm damn sure NOT going to follow his ass into the Fog of War where he could easily be hiding in the river bushes only to turn around and all-in me with no counter-play available to myself. You probably don't run into situations quite like this in Plat but I'm sure the concept is the same.
Pinging does not always do what it is intended to do. But it burns a bit of my soul everytime my mid lane opponent disappears into the Fog of War, leads me to ping until I can't, only to hear "Enemy Double Kill" and then see my bot lane in chat going "WHY DIDN'T YOU PING?!!!" or "WHY DIDN'T YOU FOLLOW YOUR LANER?!""
So, to this, I also have no arguments.
I really hate it when somebody pings missing once then I look through the chat log and find they pinged missing once 60 seconds ago in the middle of the jg.
You and me both. =\
It's basic team communication. The better they know, the better they can perform, which increases your chances of winning. If you lose a game because you didn't ping somebody and make sure your team was going to follow up on your Sej ult, then it's your fault for not pinging you were going in, not their fault for not following up.
This is true. However, there are players (even if a small minority) who would be ready to follow up said Sej ult, no matter what, by pure instinct alone, without any communication whatsoever. Like I said, though, only a small handful of players are like this. I do see where you're coming from now and I apologize for getting on your case about this.
Posts containing players who blame teammates usually have the player complaining about something that they had full control over. You, on the other hand, only had a little control over the situation. So, for that, I apologize if I came off like an ass. I assure you it wasn't my intent.
