Extra History really opened my eyes to game design imbalance. I feel like more people should see.

Not to say everything Riot does is good, they do have their moments, but looking back at some of the ignored complaints about balance in LoL, and then just seeing said complaints and reason drop off the game randomly makes a lot of sense now.

or when champion A is caitlyn and has traps preventing you from engaging her and caliber net to disengage pursuers.

Riot doesn't have 'perfect imbalance'.

They actually just have no idea how to balance their game. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Proof is that Riot's only balancing comes from nerfing the top. Any buffs usually completely break a champion, meanwhile half the roster goes unused at any given time. If anything that wasn't previously top becomes meta, they nerf it out of existence harder than the champions at the top.

Video is still valid and good information, though.
