My main is Kayle support, and I've been playing her exclusively tonight as a goodbye before her rework. But whenever I pick intent her people get like, mad? I would have thought people would be more focused on their own game but people act like I shot their mum just for playing something they don't want me to play. Is there something I can say to them to calm them down so their anger doesn't feed into the game and make me lose?

I always link my op.gg, if they are still mad, I look up their op.gg and if they are on losing streak, I'm more likely to dodge, becouse they might just turn their mistakes on me or just rage from small things. There is not much more to do IMO, just play what you like.

Butterwood2 votesI had an Ivern top lane teammate last week. Everyone in pregame lobby FREAKED. "If I would have seen that I would have banned Ivern, gg, game is over already" etc. etc. He went up against a Fiora and managed to keep her from farming pretty effectively, and in the end was one of the key reasons we won the game.
You have the same right to pick whatever champion you want to play as the people who exclusively pick meta champs do. Fuck em.

Riot long since doubled-down on the "designed role and lane" style of creation that the only way you see things outside of those intentions is if they're abusing something specific. Even in this case, you're unlikely to get people to go along with it unless some prominent professional player started doing it.
Just ignore them and do it anyway. It's not against the rules of the game.

GlancingChaos1 votesGood luck with that a few games ago they banned kayle becuase they searched up my op.gg and found last night around 12am I played draft kayle and went 5/6/6, they banned my main, I was the most toxic person that night, Like I know it is ranked and Im picking a off meta cham, but Its still my MAIN even If I was on a losing streak but you ban my ranked main Im going to do far worse. Good thing someone dodge the cue becuase I would have flamed him so much the whole game. [sg-shisa]

Instant ban even though I selected him. They always says.... oh sorry didn't see or I selected random.
They need to make it so you can't ban selected champs or something.

Metal Janna1 votesI main Orianna support, and i've never been pickbanned in Ranked. People seem to care more about winning in Ranked, and so are less willing to sabotage their own team knowing it will likely cost them the win.
So... Kayle support? How is it? I've been wanting to try it out, but the rework looks bad for support Kayle... her ult appears to be some sort of damage ability now!
Minimac20001 votesOld kayle support was actually quite decent but definitely not meta. If your adc is ok with pushing you can auto ranged minions to poke and it's pretty effective. Her sustain is 1000% outclassed by nami or soraka, but that's okay bc unlike nami/soraka her ult actually has a chance of saving your adc from that fed assassin

A lot of league players are selfish in the way that they don't want ANYONE else to tell them what to do, but they want to be able to control other people. Because a lot of people see themselves as this holy "Main Character" and they fail to realize that they're only one of the millions of people who play this game.
