What are the pros and cons of having a champion-themed name

I've fallen in love with a champion and decided I never want to play another champ. I'm considering changing my name to reflect this, but I'm worried that there may be consequences, like people expecting too much of me, banning my champ, ect

There are no real cons. Because all you need to do to know what youre going to play anyways is going to opgg (if youre a 1 trick)

The only real issue is that if you underperform on that champ people will complain but that's because they are brain damaged probably. There are more subtle names which are just the names of the champions abilities, for example mine, Supercharge is the name of Kai'Sa's E ability.

That's also an idea. My old name was Looking4ahero: from Poppy theme that fit me as a support main.

That's what I was planning to do, but it may be a bit more obvious. I play Yuumi and I want to change my name to Zuumies, since Zoomies is an ability she has

the serious problem will be the common players hatred for that cursed champ, but if you get passed people hating things that are nearly impossible to kill MasterYi Tryndamere Yuumi you'll probably be fine

If you like the champ that much just ignore what ppl say/expect of you. What ever champ it is I would stay to its lane strengths and not do outrageous builds. That being said I've played neeko in every role decently... being a support main I was not as strong in the other lanes even tho I've won games from each.

As far as ppl banning the champ... it doesn't happen much to me but I've taken it 2 ways.

  1. I ignore it and pick a champ I know that fits the role.(like my og picks janna, soraka)
  2. I pick an off meta that I know how to play but it is usually trolley. (Like Ashe support - I've done very well with)
