Those Fiora buffs would only make sense if you removed the 14 different buffs she didn't need
That's right: in the last 2 years, throughout Riot's unfaltered crusade of trying to force Fiora into a competitive 100% pick or ban, she got 14 different buffs to her abilities, not even including bugfixes who possibly increased her consistency. The thing is, those 14 buffs barely did anything to her winrate until now. Because they were insufficient? Oh god no. The reason her winrate is STILL not anywhere near the 80% mark that Riot is seemingly aiming for is because all those buffs were aimed at making her win laning phase at any cost (in which she excels at at the moment against pretty much the whole toplane roster already) instead of helping her win games, which is pretty much what influences the winrate a lot more than laning phase in toplane in the current meta (let's face it: winning or losing lane top barely means anything because of vertical jungling and insane snowballing most laners are able of).
Fiora is the kind of champion that, if you lane against, forces you to either spend half of your laning phase getting back to lane after being forced to recall or just spending this whole time dead. Most of the time, Fiora spends time in lane alone, and a toplaner alone in a lane is most of the time really bad for the opposing team. Well, not Fiora. She got SOOOOOO good in utterly destroying enemy laners that she just sits and wait until they come back to slap them back into fountain, but other than that? She can't splitpush and she can't take towers at a rate that could even be comparable to most other toplaners, even ranged ones. She is literally a sitting duck for the whole game, killing people left and right until the opponent gets an edge in objective and creepscore just to out-snowball her.
But now? She is getting not only one, but TWO ways of chipping turrets at an insane rate. Back in Season 6,
got his only tower chipping ability other than his AS steroid to not affect towers (temporarily) anymore because abilities such as these are hard to balance, but now Fiora got two of those extremely potent tools to utterly destroy an entire lane to herself.
So, as of now Fiora is already an unbeatable laner with pretty much no disadvantages other than not putting a lot of pressure on empty lanes, but this will change drastically with the upcoming buffs. As already explained, you don't spend a lot of time during laning phase in your lane when you are against Fiora, and now every single second she is alone with your turret early on or anywhere splitpushing later is a direct threat to your chances of winning the game in an ever increasing rate that easily surpasses almost every other toplaners as of now. And you can't do much about it: the only weakness of an already over the top powercrept champion is finally getting fixed, so now she is basically fault-free. So its definitely time you remove those 14 other attempts at making her winrate rise instead of just letting this huge mistake train hit the rails on the rift, because those upcoming buffs aren't some placebo ones like those others and them getting combined together is not going to be good at all.
