Tryndamere rework:

Critkeeper··3 votes·6,797 views

q- unchanged

w- no longer slows enemies or reduces enemy attack damage. Applies a mark that causes enemies to be slowed by 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60 % for 1 second when they take damage. The mark lasts 4 seconds.

e- the dash now stops when spinning slash damages any enemy champion

r- tryndamere passively gains fury for auto attacking, critically striking, and killing units. he gains 0.35% crit chance for ever 1 fury. Active: Tryndamere gains 50 / 75 / 100 fury instantly.

passive - when trynd would take fatal damage, he instead is rendered immune to death for 2 seconds. The timer does not count down if there is an alive enemy champion within 375 range of Tryndamere. If there is no enemy champion withing 375 range of Tryndamere, the timer counts down at half speed if there is an alive allied champion or dead enemy champion within 375 range of Tryndamere.

sounds really bad and also is completely unneccessary since tryndamere works and is unique. no need to change anything.

So you want to make him a considerably shittier version of Aatrox.

I believe you're missing the fact that it's literally impossible for this version of Tryndamere to lose a duel against any champion provided he is able to stay within 375 range of them because he'd be permanently unkillable.

thanks for providing a rework that will completely destroy what little viability Trynd has left

The only thing that could make work a 2 second immortality is if he'd heal for all damage taken like 2seconds before immunity+immunity after it ends. W would NOT work that way. Tryndamere is getting kited as it is, you should know that seeing how you main him and all.. The only change we could make to his W that could work is Ashe's passive on W passive, and if you activate it slows enemies who are running away, but for a smaller %/time than now. E change would further ruin his already almost non-existent teamfighting ability, as teammates will now be able to block him any access to the backline.

EDIT

I'm sorry, it seems that you meant for the ult to stay forever if the enemy is in sight. "The timer does not count down if there is an alive enemy champion within 375 range of Tryndamere. If there is no enemy champion withing 375 range of Tryndamere, the timer counts down at half speed if there is an alive allied champion or dead enemy champion within 375 range of Tryndamere." <- I thought you are talking about his rage not going down.

SP Dodgecity1 votes

Trynameres worse OP ability is his ult. I like the idea alot but the passive gets me a little. Maybe he should stay alive like normal but have reduced stats, like 35% less attack speed and 45% less damamge. I mean the guys almost dead, staying alive for a few seconds with full damage and ability still available is the OP side of this.

So you took tryndamere's ult, made it potentially stronger, and put it on a passive. Great idea.

Seriously, tryndamere's ult already takes up most of his power budget. This is such a bad idea.

I think his Undying Rage should pause all incoming damage and then feel all the pain at the end. It'd be a slow damage-over-time True Damage effect to himself. Debuff cannot be removed. He'll have time to flee and survive (LifeSteal or press Recall) but if chased he'll probably die from all the wounds during Undying Rage.

It's only reasonable and fair compared to what he does now.

Ultimate would feel horrible to use. Major nerf to early game as he now doesn't get crit til lvl 6. Gets destroyed even more by any kind of ranged poke. Cc hurts more too as you can no longer slow if you can't hit them. Overall you took a kit that had a large majority of its power budget in one ability then took even more away to basically make it even more powerful. Doing this means that outside of the rare ideal cases where you live for more than 5 seconds you will be much worse off.

frozen mallet bby

Frozen mallet is very poor in his kit. Buying that item early would completely fuck tryndamere in the ass

I have never understood why people complain about tryndamere. Whenever I play against him, He gets kited worse than fucking darius. I mean really, It isn't remotely hard to run away from trynd while his ult is up. Unless of course you play a very immobile champion, which is a stupid fucking idea in the first place

I would have to agree with you here baunjo, if you have any type of CC at all tryn is garbage, ever see him when enemy has Tahm Kench? ohh ulted .... nope eaten. how about annie? stun. Thresh? CHAINS! Riven ... Stun, knockup escape. Alistar? you THOUGHT you were getting close.....basically he is a champ who punishes stupid people

Baunjo1 votes

He both punishes stupid people and is good against a very immobile team. When he came out, his mobility and chasing power was pretty crazy for the champions that were out. He is still very good if you play him WELL though.

W - He needs his slow, its what allows him to catch up to enemies. No point in giving him a slow after he hits you, by that point he's already caught up.

E - See above. Needs his gap closer - if it stops him short, it reduces his stickiness. Being able to spin "past" an enemy and be in their path of travel is directly part of his strat.

Passive - Just... no.

this is supposed to be a nerf to his ability to stick and choose targets, and a buff to him if he doesn't need to because his allies can cover that weakness.

Basically with this version of Tryndamere, if his allies can beef up his sticking ability high enough it doesn't matter what enemy champion he hits, he simply can't die as long as he is in there hitting something. For his allies it becomes a game of attrition. Just try to peel and survive while keeping Tryndamere on a target long enough so that Tryndamere can do enough damage for the rest of the team to hard commit or to force the enemy team to do a hard retreat.

You can think of Tryndamere like a dot that bounces to the nearest enemy champion and does a boatload of damage, and which doesn't expire until there isn't anything to bounce to within range. Of course, that isn't 100% accurate since it ignores the fact that Tryndamere doesn't have to acquire the nearest target, and may opt for a riskier play that has greater reward, but generally speaking its roughly accurate, with the exception that the damage the dot does can be "paused" by cc'ing Tryndamere and with enough cc and lack of support from his team it can be extinguished altogether.

Kouga1 votes

So instead of "Lock down/kite/CC Tryn for a few seconds and then murder him" you want "He is now literally unkillable until you die, and if you group up he will kill you with absolute certainty as he moves from one target to the next."

Yeah, I'll pass.
