Why the Shaco / LeBlanc clone changes?

Maybe I'm missing something. I already thought those two were cancer champs to play against. It was just a bit nice being able to slap down a pink ward for Shaco invis or look for the clone who had the buff on them so you know which one to attack. What was the purpose of changing it to where both clone and champ have the buff on them now? Seems small but it did help catch them throughout the match. It was already painful dealing with Shaco / Leblancs, now to add that makes it a bit more painful. If you also have any tips to add in dealing with either champ in this meta, I'm open ears to that as well. Thanks.

If you click on them their stats are different along with their color scheme

Gonna have to try that one, didn't think about that. Thanks.

With Leblanc the only way to tell the clone apart is to wait for it to act, or damage it. With Shaco, status effects like Tahm's passive will show up on the origional, and not on the clone.

So would things like ignite, Zed ult, or whatever other effects show up on only the champ if he's the one hit?

Yep, if you ignited Shaco before he ulted, only the real Shaco would be ignited.
